Sometimes, everything just falls into place.
The organization, the people on the dance floor, the sunset, the setting, and the exchange of energy between the crowd and me.
Zongeluk, it was an honor to close the day with you. Thank you for having me. This one's one for the books.

How grateful I am to have experienced this moment with you all. I had written new music specifically for this set and tested it out with you for the first time, and everything seemed to fall into place perfectly. I was most nervous about trying out this new closer track for the first time, and I think it passed the test. Thanks again to everyone for coming to my performance, for your energy, to the tech crew, and thank you @lagolagofestival for the wonderful booking.

@ca.va.festival....You’ve done it again.
The intimacy, the château, the warm embrace, and that beautiful little bubble in France — it’s pure joy to play for you. Thank you all for crafting such a delicious memory last Saturday.

My final applause from @georgieswundergarten ever.

Back in 2015, I played my first big gig at Georgie’s Wundergarten — and now, 10 years later, it’s time to say goodbye.
It’s hard to put into words just how many beautiful memories I’ve made at Georgie’s, both as a visitor and as a musician. But wow, what an incredible time it’s been.

For this final edition, I recorded a short speech for Georgie (in Dutch) and included it in the closing track.
Check out slide two to hear the full speech.

1.The final applause
2.My little speech for Georgie
3.Lövestad ft. Beachboys (Unreleased)
4.To round off the final edition, I played right after my dear friend @dragu_fly — for the first time ever.

I'm writing this post while on holiday so I'll keep it short;)
Here some shots of @thuishaven last weekend.

1. Track ID: Lövestad - This is not the end. I experienced my solo in the intro intense because I didn't play the song for a long time.
2. 'De Loods'' stage felt like a sauna so losing yourself in a break can be nice.
3. No comment. Just dance

Just how I like it, packed and intimate. Can we go back in time please? Over the past few days, I received many footage from several friends. 📷@hessel.stuut 📽@tripjag @roseringed @tja_ling

1. Me waking up after a 90-minute musical dream. Applause.
2. Us in the heat of the moment.
3. The stage is getting more and more crowded. Unreleased track is working well.
4. Testing my newest track with a filthy bassline.
5. Me in full concentration, probably keeping the energy up to the right level.
6. Taking off together.
7. Thanking eachother on the dancefloor.
8. Outro of the last track.

Last weekend I played at the magical @familiar_forest festival. With the no-phone policy, I thought I’d make a short jam video with the track I closed my set with, so there’s still a little memory of it ;)

I played here back in 2016 and 2017, and I honestly didn’t expect the festival to still be organised with so much passion and love after all these years.

Thank you to the whole team. You’re a special bunch of people! ❤️

Still enjoying the afterglow..

Behind the scenes, I’ve been writing a lot of new material for my alias @stllnss_music, my other live project where the more raw and minimal house and techno that doesn’t quite fit the Lövestad sound ends up.

The @stllnss_music project feels more like a playground, with room for improvisation at the heart of it.

Really curious to see where this will take me...

Back from a week of hiking in the Picos de Europa and a truly special surf camp @ripstar_travel.
Spending time in nature and meeting some wonderful people left me feeling refreshed and full of new energy. Looking forward to bringing that energy into two closing sets this week. Let's go!!

July 22 - @stadseiland.stek @vierdaagsefeesten

Two closing sets lined up for July. Curious to hear how this new one translates on a big system.

But first, a bit of hiking in the Picos de Europa. Hopefully see you on one of the next dance floors.

Blown away by all of you and @lagolagofestival

Experiencing this—even though I wasn’t officially part of the Lago Lago lineup—went far beyond anything I ever expected. When I walked across the festival grounds at 11:00 on Friday morning, I felt a small wave of doubt: would anyone actually show up to my pop-up set? Thankfully, you did.

And Lago Lago… from the moment I arrived to the moment I drove off the site—just one word: WOW. All the beautiful people I met on the grounds, in the booth, and every artist I got to hear… it was one big ride I won’t forget anytime soon❤️

1.Lövestad – Maniac (unreleased)
2.Lövestad – This Is Not the End
3.Spilled drink on the keys – the risk of playing among the crowd.
4.A truly special photo: my former Lövestad partner @jorgenhvirring , smiling at my former booker @pplkaan during my set. Priceless.
