Going home with your special sculpture

A question people often ask is ‘how will I fly home with it if I’ve only got hand luggage’… if your bust is smaller than a cabin suitcase it should pack easily as it is thin, you can pack you’re clothes carefully around it which will also give it extra protection for the travel! Or get a duty free bag! If it is bigger then I would sneak it onto the plane under your top! Maybe not the most comfortable 5 minutes but you can do it! 😂

I’ve been scared to post because of past experiences with getting blocked, but I’m ready to give it another shot. This video is from my first pop-up at Cosmic Pineapple. The day after, my new IG account was suspended—again, with no rules violated. After my last account was permanently disabled, I couldn’t believe it was happening all over again. It’s been a challenge, and I sometimes wonder why the universe hasn’t been on my side with sharing this journey, especially since I absolutely love doing body castings and people really enjoy them too! So, I’m excited to announce that I’m planning another workshop on Sunday, March 9th. I hope to see you there! ❤️ by @lovethyself.art

A few months ago, I made my first page for sharing my art, it was so exciting to see how much people were loving it after keeping it to myself for 2 years. I ran a competition and had hundreds of people enter, then on the August 3rd, literally while I was setting up the wheel spinner to pick a winner my page got suspended, and quickly permanently disabled… it was the day before mercury retrograde. 😂

Did I learn? 🥲

Why I didn’t check this before I started sharing my workshop the day before mercury retrograde on this new page , I don’t know.
I did however check the planets on the day of the workshop and it’s a great day for having fun with friends , redecorating your home (with your new art that you made), meeting new people and buying objects for your home (oh look another excuse to make some art). Website was Astrosofa 🪐✨

Now we can only have faith and pray for divine assistance, I would really love to be able to share my things and fill my workshop please! 🙏🏻✨

Since that happened, I created a landing page where you can subscribe with an email in case it happens again. I hope not but this new page also got suspended the day after I did a pop up at @wellcosmicpineapple even though all n*p*l*s have been covered 😅

So please technology can you be on my side this time even though it’s your time to play pranks with mercury 🙏🏻

If you read it this far it was worth my many attempts at making this reel, I love you thank you 😂🤍 by @lovethyself.art

These workshops are not just about art; they are about embracing individuality, sparking meaningful conversations, and promoting a culture of self-love and support.

But you will go home with a beautiful piece of art or a unique gift for someone special in time for Christmas! ✨

📅 9th December

I started this project in 2022. For years I had this vision of creating mirrored body pieces but I didn’t know what I would do with them. Then one day I decided to make a mirrored lamp and since then I could see an exhibition in my head, a room full of sparkles and light made from bodies. Real bodies, shining their light. So that was my reason to start creating.

Seeing peoples positive reactions when they see their own body in a different light has shown me the importance of self love and how much people enjoy the process has inspired me to host self-love body casting workshops.

Next workshop on December 9th, message to book your space ✨ by @lovethyself.art
