In honour of Gloria who fought tirelessly to change the way women were treated and seen in society, wanting only equality which is the most basic right since women are one half of the population. What she accomplished was world changing and hard to imagine now that we are so much more free. Feminist became a dirty word denigrated and ridiculed by people who didn’t understand or want a different way and a fair deal for the women of the world, girls in western countries couldn’t even imagine that now and that’s because of Gloria and the movement she grew and initiated. There is still much to be done and Patriarchy seems to be the next layer that is crumbling before our eyes thankfully. And women are rising everywhere, taking full ownership of their lives and having a great time doing it, realising what’s been missing what they are worth and shining a light on some pretty dark places.. yes it’s still up to women it seems , and the feminine energy to create a shift and bring back balance and harmony between the sexes. Male egos are in their tantrumed death throes and everyone is claiming how happy they are on their own but it’s all a cover and an adaptation to a very big absence of true relating and companionship based on simply being available to the person beside you and upholding sacred relationship tenets. It’s not hard but it take effort and changing behaviours and learning what wasn’t taught. Gloria taught how to see a new way and the ripple effects of harm and good … let’s create ripple effects of good and put the past behind us. Heal thyself and be a better human for all who encounter you and for yourself. by @lovethyselfbethyself

I’ve been so moved by all of the incredibly heartfelt & personal stories pouring from people all over the world expressing deep sadness for Sam Neil’s passing. What has really struck me is that the wording of the tributes are full of heart & gratitude and awe and honouring of this amazing humble caring stable unassuming fun lighthearted big hearted talented funny generous and genuinely kind & gracious man who had such a pure genuine nature and spirit. I’ve never seen anything like this when it comes to a movie stars passing, people say a few nice things about stars when they pass on but nothing like what they are saying about Sam. His character and his energy really impressed upon people and because of everything but his ego, his truth and his essence and his authenticity is what left its mark. In a fake world of excess that seems to hollow people out (I love actors btw, they usually are fun interesting people) Sam was immune to any such devolution as he was always evolving and loving life animals land and people and being good at his work and an incredible human, always in harmony and balance. The other thing that this seems to highlight in consequence is that people don’t speak of many men like this, they don’t lament on the personhood of typical men anything remotely close to what we’ve been able to witness people the world over intimately sharing how Sam made them feel,how treasured their friendships and how much he meant to them and how unforgettable he was. Which shows that there really aren’t many good men with such a nature or calibre that people really do adore and admire and feel struck by their loss and the majesty of what they gave to life and became and shared with the world around them. Why aren’t there more men like this, why is it such an anomaly within the entire human population. What is missing from the majority of the male population that they don’t leave a mark on the world like this or even have a bit of what Sam had to share around. He wasn’t gifted or special & if anything his earlier years were difficult but he became a man among men, a man that is not often found in the wilds of the human race and what a terrible shame that is #samneill by @lovethyselfbethyself
