What does it mean to start your Sunday right? 🏃🏾‍♀️☕

Meet Sunday Service Social, a Wimbledon-based fitness and lifestyle community built on connection.

Running is how we come together, but the community is the point. Every week, people who started as strangers turn up for each other: to move, to laugh, to grab a coffee after and to leave feeling better than when they arrived.

Whatever your pace, whoever you are, there’s a place for you here. Come as you are, and leave part of something.

Not your usual Sunday ❤️

11,000 issues resolved and counting!

For the past five years, our dedicated Town Ranger, Tom Ruffell, has helped make Wimbledon town centre cleaner, safer and better for everyone.

Tom has logged more than 10,000 issues on Merton’s FixMyStreet platform, alongside reporting problems directly to utility companies and other stakeholders. Together, these efforts have helped resolve more than 11,000 issues across the town centre.

From fly-tipping and graffiti to vandalism, leaking pipes, fly-posting and cleanliness concerns, Tom’s daily patrols help ensure problems are spotted and reported. He also responds to reports from local businesses, following up wherever possible to help get issues resolved.

It’s an extraordinary milestone and a brilliant testament to Tom’s tireless dedication to Wimbledon. by @lovewimbledon

Not to be dramatic, but… 🥂 we’ve been awarded Best New Business in Wimbledon!

For the people who move with us and make this place what it is ~ thankyou 🤍✨ by @lovewimbledon

A little rain couldn’t dampen the spirit of Wimbledon BookFest today. It’s been wonderful to see the community come together around culture, conversation and a love of books.

From Sir Ian Botham on cricket and Jamie Bartlett and Beeban Kidron on AI, to Tahmima Anam and Carla Montemayor on women pushing against the limits placed on them, and Simon Sebag Montefiore on the modern Middle East, today’s conversations have covered so much. More to come this evening with internationally acclaimed, bestselling British-Turkish novelist Elif Shafak.

Pick up a new read, get it signed, then refuel with something comforting from Bombay Delight, a coffee or a little bubbly. There are plenty more incredible events tomorrow. by @lovewimbledon

A few postcards from Wimbledon taken yesterday 💌 by @lovewimbledon

new spot in wimbledon 🤩 jungle berry opened recently on the ground floor of wimbledon quarter, just below third space, and it’s so good 👏🏻

they do a breakfast range with paninis and a whole variety of coffees, but we went for the protein shakes and açai bowls.

we tried one shake made with coconut milk and one with coconut water and both were delicious. you can add creatine to them too for that extra benefit ⚡️

if you train at third space it’s the perfect post-gym stop. finish your session, head downstairs and refuel.

if you haven’t been yet, go and try it. it’s still fairly new and so worth a visit 🥥
