I’m finally coming up for air to edit the footage from my most recent workshop, The Art of Becoming that was on March 15, 2025. While describing the EFT portion of the workshop, I said a word that I felt needed to be amplified. Life is such a nuanced and layered experience for every single person. Balance is a virtue and may even be an impractical aspiration but yet we seek it anyways. We all desire to be exactly who we came here to be, but also tend to disregard who we are today. I’m becoming more and more inspired to support people in realizing that while we can have it all, we must find peace with where we are. The constant rat race of “healing” and “self improvement” and “goal setting” can become another form of self rejection. I’ve done it myself so I know it. I’m passionate about giving people a space to reflect and be honest, but also feel loved right now. It’s a delicate act but I know how much we all need it. Even if you don’t know yet that you need it. Sharing some current thoughts. As I work on my latest project, soon to be shared with you all, the idea of legacy continues to come up. Legacy being the stamp that says you were here and you left something that outlasted you. At times, I feel stressed by the fact that I cannot conform to linear ways of creation/expression. One day I’m an artist, the next I’m a manager, the next I’m nothing, then the next I’m everything. It would be much simpler to pick something to be and then just show up as that. But what is one to do when you have oodles of planets swirling within you all begging for the chance to be expressed? At times, the answer was to be none of them in an attempt to not pick favorites. Other times, I just let them all have their way until an inevitable overwhelm strikes and I have to reposition. Today I’m leaning into the awareness that I have time. I don’t have to be everything today because there’s always tomorrow. And the beauty about tomorrow, is that you don’t know what it brings but if you can allow yourself to be hopeful, it’ll be more than it was yesterday. Someday my legacy will be the ways that I gave myself permission to take my time. The impact will be the space I created for all of my parts and the praise I gave them for what they created in this world. The legacy will be how much I could share myself and how creative I got with my willingness to be seen. The legacy will be the commitment to not making sense regardless of the deep desire to be understood. I pray that it gets easier to be honest. I pray to be more loving towards myself when I shift gears. I pray to receive wisdom and to give it freely. I pray to be proud of who I am. And I pray to stay soft even when the world seems be hardening. Thankful in advance for the strength and blessings on my path. More to come 🙏🏽💗 by @lovingmoremari
