“A successful and memorable dinner is a collection of well tended details. “

✨Did you put something special inside a box on your guest’s plate?
✨Did you put a special piece on your table from your travels?
✨Did you buy something unique at an Estate sale?

🧡 How do you make dinner unforgettable? I want to know.

🌻the “T” is for Touch - This is part of my TABLE METHOD that I created - talk about “How to elevate your table to be memorable long after your guests are gone!” Is there a meaningful object on that table, perhaps those tin boxes purchased in France? What’s your hostess touch?

😋 You are going to love this “MENU” And recipe! Delight your guests with super delicious food, just SWIPE LEFT.

Here you can see my “Linda’s Garden” print Napkins and the Green Hydrangeas Tea Towel (perfect for this time of the year).

Many thanks to my talented hubby who did pretty much all of it while I did the dessert, set the table and took pictures!
Enjoy this menu and save for a future meal friends. 😘

Seared Scallops with Chouriço & Cherry Tomatoes

4 Oz Chouriço
15 large sea scallops
1 pound of cherry tomatoes, I love using different color ones
3 shallots
4 garlic cloves minced
1/3 cup dry white wine
Sea Salt and cracked pepper
2 tablespoons of butter
2 tablespoons of olive oil
Fresh basil
Fresh loaf of bread
2 tablespoon of lemon juice
Use lemon zest to garnish

Instructions:
Rinse and Pat dry the scallops and put salt and pepper on it in a plate. Then put the olive oil and butter to melt, when it’s very hot, add the scallops and cook only for 1 minute or 2. Set scallops aside, add lemon juice, cook the garlic for 30 seconds or so and then add wine until it evaporates.
Add the tomatoes, salt and pepper over medium heat for about 10 minutes until they look cooked. Then add the scallops, chouriço and let cook for about 3 minutes or until the scallops are cooked and serve with a piece of bread toasted.

Roses… “Each flower is small and lovely, but in their sheer and silent abundance the roses become an immutable force, as though the work of the wild roses was to make sure that all of us, who come wandering over the sand, may be, for a while, struck to the heart and saturated with a simple joy.” - Mary Oliver

🌸 I love this design so much that I had to hand paint my version into linens and paper!

From brushstroke to table setting ✨

I hand painted delicate blue and white birds, blooming flowers, and charming bows, little details inspired by all the things women love and brought them together in my Botanical Garden print.

Seeing an illustration begin with paint and transform into a beautifully styled table with matching linens and napkins is one of my favorite parts of the creative journey. I hope this collection inspires meaningful gatherings and moments of beauty around the table.

What detail do you love most: birds, flowers, or bows? 💙
