The fuzzy pics I told you about... Out the kitchen window of yesteryear. Or from a motion sensor camera. I loved (& hated🙄, but mostly loved) all of the visitors & there were many.🧡 by @lovz2dance

I had a good time with a beautiful soul who crafts outstanding coffee at Rosso's Coffee Bar 840 E. State Rd 434, Longwood, FL.

Graciously, she shared key points in her coffee journey, experiences as small business owner, and desires on giving back to the community.

It felt welcoming & comfortable. Like chatting with an old friend at their kitchen table. Only we'd just met & we were seated in Rosso's. The backstory to our meeting is interesting too, even if only to me. But that's a different post for a different time. Maybe.

Just Go. Feel the cozy & taste the difference.

What you should know:
There's an enormous difference between franchise/big business coffee & Rosso coffee: Contents, process, & taste

The location is easy to find. The parking lot is spacious & offers a wide entry complete with a ramp. Indoor/Outdoor seating/Take out. Staple & seasonal menu items. It's a small business folks, so sometimes things sell out ;). Homemade cookies (I know) & (I believe small batch) pastries. Saturday's might offer homemade Gimbab & Japchae. It's well lit, clean with WiFi. The pricing seems fair (I'm not a coffee connoisseur), friendly service & what I had was delicious. Cookie Latte with oat milk, Cranberry & Orange cookie, Salmon & capers on everything bagel.

I SWORE this bird mocked me. It'd appear, sing & fly off or high every time I ran out with my camera. The beginning of an obsession. Because well, I love orange, a bit of mystery & the chase. Who are you? Ambiguious or just unrecognizable to me? Why won't you let me take your picture? Every season (never bothered to remember which) They came close, sang & flew when I arrived.

I searched my book, 'Peterson Field Guide to Birds of North America'. Oriole? You're so vividly orange. I sat out oranges & jelly. Nothing. Tanager? A decade later. New surroundings. I've only once heard the song.

Then dreamily soaking up a Curacao (below Aruba, above South America) vacation atmosphere... I hear THE song AND I get the picture! A BALTIMORE Oriole... in Curaçao.

Funny how you sat eye level comfortably on the outskirt of at least 50 people on an island but would barely stick around for me to trust my eyesight when it was just you, me & the woods in the States. Still orange. Still beautiful. Maybe a tad less mysterious. Maybe. If only the ancestors could speak.

Another trip done. This time I met up with @officialnabsdivers & my extraordinary cousin @wallstorres for week of #Fun #family #fellowship #ExperienceItForYourself and 👏🏽 it 👏🏽 did 👏🏽 not 👏🏽 disappoint. It was the inclusion for me. We stayed at Dreams Curaçao Resort, Spa & Casino (Dean, I love you!)
diving with @caribbeanseasportscuracao (Who wants to Salsa? This isn't a salsa👀)
all in Curaçao, a constituent country of the Kingdom of the Netherlands (along with Aruba and Bonaire).
I ingested more than my fare share of food & drink & equally supported the bloodlust of their mosquitoes. For real. They were... enthusiastic.

#StraightOffTheCouch #PuntaCana Another solo trip in the books. Thank you @Go3DTravel for all of the therapy, I mean booking/coordinating/assisting! #IonKnowNothingBoutBookingNoTravel 👀 #BlackWomanOwnedBusiness out here doing their thing y'all! Check her out! All inclusive resort RIU Naiboa. Oh right. The sign says Bambu. That's a different story🥵 Interesting spot tho, there's like 6 or so resorts nestled together, with their own street full of shops on the way to the beach. Nightclubs, tennis courts & pool parties & such. It wasn't my cup of tea, not solo anyway but when company arrived I had a blast. On the solo tip I mostly I ate. It was kid friendly and well worth the $ for the experience. I did fine solo & am absolutely glad I did it even though I couldn't quite shake the discomfort of not speaking the language & being alone. Learning Spanish has been on my list of things to do. Well do it already! The best part was meeting up with a childhood friend. We laughed & danced all the way into the ocean. I'd say I'll never forget it, but quite frankly, I don't really remember it! Ah, but there's video that shall not be televised! 👀 #DancingInTheOcean To be 15 again. The capper? I packed my purse & promptly forgot. It wouldn't fit on the way down, so why would it fit on the way back? It did. But the ensuing disappointment & fiasco? I will laugh at myself about that for many years to come. #DRTacoBell oh the irony. #YouCantMakeThisShitUp by @lovz2dance

Time for a cut. I'll get to it. Put on some make up, my lovely new @lappashop lappa, headwrap (Thanks for the introduction @giwayenmata) and my @girltrek hoodieT (love my Ts. & you have me considering Sanford). I took an L on the makeup (expected) but the headwrap was a W for sure (unexpected!). Looks far better than my usual. I actually thought it was cute. Went for a ride. The day is beautiful. The earth in some parts looks... redesigned by Ian. There's so much power in the elements. In the earth. In me. I'm trying to still the anxiety which seems to be my only energy source. It will pass. I got some of my favorite chicken, ribs and thanks @ronisrestaurant for the omlet) Then back home for a nap before The Woman King.

Sooo. Besides my #StraightOffTheCouch trips... I honestly rarely leave a 5 mi radius. But uhm... Ian so 😒 I had to travel to find water 'cause y'all BUY ALL THE THINGS! Anywho if I travel a certain way, I'll stop by @lakemarypub & have a drink (or 3👀) with Kaitlyn (sp?). It's almost always an event 😂🤣😅😆
