Had her first chemotherapy yesterday and her body is reacting very well to it. We know this is going to be a difficult road to go down but will continue to fight together.

Our medical and insurance system is completely broken. Im out of paid time off and FMLA doesn't pay to be able to care for a significant other. I'm going to be left with the choice of caring for my wife or work to pay bills. I'm frustrated, stressed, emotionally unstable and broken. This should not have to be a choice anyone has to do.

On Monday we found out the results of my wife's biopsy. The results were worse than expected and her diagnosis changed. They confirmed she has extensive small cell carcinoma of the bladder. The cancer has spread to her lungs, spine, liver, pelvic bone, left leg and uterus. I'm not able to work like I need to as she needs a lot of care and is already having issues walking and is in severe pain. Please find it in your heart to help us through this very difficult time.

I'm asking for as many prayers and support as possible as my wife and I navigate this unimaginable time. In December my wife started getting a lot of pain down in her pelvic area. A cat scan was done and nothing triggering showed up. Over the next several months she saw several doctors and was diagnosed with Pelvic prolapse and we are now finding out they misdiagnosed her. Last Thursday she went to the ER. They did another cat scan and found a mass near her pelvic and nodes in her lungs. Sunday they performed an MRI and determined she has stage 4 bladder cancer that has spread to her liver, lungs and spine.

I'm normally on the road for work 4 nights a week and I'm no longer going to be able to do that as I will need to be home more to help her. If anyone knows any programs or organizations that help families during these types of difficult times please message me directly. Thank you To everyone that has been helping us already.
