Still buzzing from an incredible night at the NAIDOC Ball in Boorloo! It was an honour to MC the NITV/SBS VIP event and be on the Blak Carpet interviewing mob and hearing powerful stories, sharing laughs and celebrating Blak excellence.

I also had the privilege of interviewing some of this year’s NAIDOC Award winners. The strength, leadership and love that they shared was amazing and congratulations to all the finalists and winners.

NAIDOC Week is always a time of reflection, pride and power for me. This year’s theme reminds me of the legacy of my Pop, my parents and all my Elders who paved the way for the next generation to carry on their legacy. Because of them, we stand tall, loud in our truth and pride in our culture.

21km My first half mara 🥹🏃🏽‍♀️✨

Running the Nike After Dark through Sydney with over 7,000 women was such an incredible experience, the vibes and endorphins were high!! Even more special getting to do it alongside my sissy @brooke.blurton 🤎

Thank you to my family and friends who braved the cold to support me at the finish line. I felt so much love 🫶🏽🥹

A really special one for my first NITV News pkg and I couldn’t have asked for a more meaningful story to tell.

For more than 3 decades Bangarra has carried a Wiradjuri name that was being pronounced incorrectly. Now, through listening, learning and consultation with Wiradjuri knowledge holders, the company is reclaiming the correct pronunciation and meaning of its name “to make fire”. by @lowannagrant

Mparntwe, Alice Springs on beautiful Arrernte Country 🤎 A very special trip for me, being on the Country of my great nanna for the first time, connecting with family and celebrating Blak excellence at the 2026 NAIDOC Awards.

One of the most beautiful moments was honouring our beloved Aunty Rhoda Roberts and witnessing her beautiful children, Jack and Sarah, accept her Lifetime Achievement Award on behalf of the family. She would be so proud of you both ❤️ im so grateful for the friendship, love and bond we share and getting to share this special night with you both meant the world to me.

A special trip filled with Country, family, culture, love and connection. My heart is so full 🖤 by @lowannagrant
