What a very nice treat today. Becki Bostic and I met at Buddy's Scoops for ice cream. It was so special. That is one delightful family. Met Chase who knows everyone and so cheerful. Kalena welcomed us in the door with a big Hi. The ice cream maker is the best. Mom and Dad had a great idea. Ice Cream is handmade. What a crowd of ice cream regulars. We will be back. Hot fudge cup was empty. by @lowderjoan

FridayOk ladies. Saw a reel or ? This am of a girl walking around with her arms open. She was looking for and giving hugs. How cool. I decided to try itMade 7 stops today Yep I did it and had so much fun from breast clinic to post office to art Shac to Cancer center to Pfaffs to Costco. So many smiles and hugs. Then had lunch with a stranger from Venezuela today at Costco. What a great day. I dare you to try it when you go out. I said with arms out, I have declared today as Hug dayBest day every. Wonderful smiles. Everyone responded with really tight hugs. What a great experiment. by @lowderjoan

Well Friday was do much fun. I decided to do it again. Joan's National Hug Day.Well I did it again today. Turned into a hug day from Duke Eye to Art Shac To Cancer Institute, to Spine Clinic to home. AT Cancer Center and Spine Clinic 2 people said, You know I really could use a hug today. I was happy to honor their wish. What a small thing to share. All were really great hugs. My new Niece, Luna Ren Cardenas turned 1 Sat, 4/18/2026. What could I send for her Birthday. I made a growth chart. So many cute buttons to put on, her name hanging from a branch. It's an original that I hope will see her thru High School. Time flies.@ by @lowderjoan

Just finished this quilted throw using my stash, for someone special. The backing came from Sewingly Yours. Name Birdsong. Adapted the bag to coordinate. Delivery today. So many mistakes. by @lowderjoan
