Think it’s about time I finally uploaded this :)

‘You Raise Me Up’ live w/ @lowerdecksessions and my amazing band!

…

I have always wanted to perform a rendition of this song live. Especially because I wanted to sing my favorite verse from the original arrangement that I’d guess most people haven’t heard before (featured in this clip 🤗) Had such a blast playing such an iconic piece.

What if the best show in LA wasn’t at a venue at all — but a deck in the hills? 🌆✨

Lowerdeck Sessions:
Perched above the hills of Encino, behind an ordinary residential front, lies a deck with an extraordinary view and iconic soundtrack.

It all started with a few passionate roommates, a house in the hills, and a YouTube channel. Today it’s expanded into a series of intimate live music shows. Think string lights, a literal deck as the stage, hillside houses glowing in the distance, and the kind of golden-hour-into-city-lights backdrop that makes every angle feel cinematic.

The Sessions are run by a team of founders, event coordinators, photographers, videographers, audio engineers, and a booking manager, showcasing live original music from a rotating lineup of local artists, plus food and drink from vendors on site. Each night feels professionally produced while remaining intimate and communal. Everyone who attends is there for the music, and that’s exactly the point.

In a city this sprawling, LowerDeck Sessions carves out something rare, a genuine community, where strangers become friends over a shared view and a new favorite song.

Huge thanks to the founders and team for bringing in the artists and allowing us to wax poetic with them each night. ✨🫶@ryand_wood, @chrisrwood, @dani_stacy taken in Encino by @lowerdecksessions
