Saturday 5th July
.
Our very good pals of Black Mountains College are organising a micro-festival nestled in the hills of Bannau Brycheiniog, unlocking the capacity to create a future in which people and the planet can thrive.
.
The festival brings together community builders and activists, farmers, artists, politicians, food leaders and many more all pioneering practical systems of change across the UK and internationally.
.
We at Sobremesa Drinks will be running a bar at the Unit 5 Garden all day so come pay us a visit!
.
The campsite will be open for those who want to stay locally. We provide a beautiful, tranquil place for you to spend the night. The campsite is located 1.5 miles down the road from Talgarth on an organic orchard, so you will sleep between the very apple trees that make the cider in the onsite tap room. As part of a Dark Skies Area in the UK, you can camp under starry skies if we are lucky enough to have a clear night. by @lowerporthamelcamping

🍎 ⛺ BOOKING FOR 2025 NOW OPEN ⛺🍎
Are you dreaming of sunnier days and blue skies? What better way to spend them than between the apple trees of the orchard at our campsite. Bookings for the 2025 season are now open, head to our website (link in bio).
And don't forget to visit the place where those apples end up... the @sobremesa.drinks Tap Room is just 20 steps away! by @lowerporthamelcamping

Join us on one of our many afternoon outings to @sobremesa.drinks and @lowerporthamelcamping in Talgarth in the Brecon Beacons National Park 🍺🧀🏕️

We love popping into to see Adrian at his tap room as it’s super dog friendly, they serve great beers and ciders which dog dad loves and the best cheese and meat boards which dog mum loves.

We’re always welcome here so make sure you pop in with your humans pups!

The campsite is also dog friendly and it’s on our list to pitch the tent up here soon ⛺️

For this visit dog mum made sure she’d packed our @dashwooddog blankets to settle on and have our snacks which allowed the humans to enjoy theirs in peace!!

Make sure you give this place a visit if you’re in the area 🗺️ 🏔️

Read what a recent camper had to say about their stay at @lowerporthamelcamping 🏕️

“This is a small but beautiful site a few miles outside Talgarth in the Black Mountains of South Wales.

Adrian was helpful in the booking process and we changed our dates without fuss.

The site is small, with little pitches (some slightly bigger) in an apple orchard, in the shadow of gentle mountains.

The air is fresh (occasional farm smell!) and it is blissfully quiet. Washrooms were clean and there is a place to charge phones.

Plenty of fire pits with wood available and even a pizza oven. There is a bar selling their own beer and a few hot snacks.

There is walking, cycling, canoeing, horse riding, climbing and freshwater swimming nearby. But some guests just soaked up the atmosphere on site from a horizontal position!

So if you want a simple and lovely place to relax or a base for your Welsh outdoor activities, this is highly recommended.”
