A true collaboration between artist and client, from start to finish.

Thank you for taking me out of my realm and challenging me with the abstract.

Inner Symphony emerges from the ground as roots transforming into lines of music streaming through a faceless figure.

The hundreds of hand cut polished and patina peices play with colors of day and night.

The sculpture reflects its surroundings and invites you to see yourself within the harmony of nature and sound.

Today, I’m honored to share my sculpture of Traskasaura sandrae, British Columbia’s newly named official fossil emblem,formerly Elasmosaur.

This marine reptile, unearthed right here along the Puntledge River in Courtenay BC, tells a story 80 million years in the making.

Discovered in 1988 by local fossil enthusiast Mike Trask and his daughter Heather, the remains of this ancient Elasmosaur have captivated our community for decades. Just days before its official naming in May 2025, Mike passed away, leaving behind a legacy that now lives on through Traskasaura.

This sculpture is my tribute to Mike, Heather, and the rich paleontological heritage of Vancouver Island. Their discovery not only deepened our understanding of prehistoric life but also cemented our region's place on the paleontological map.

Rest in peace, Mike Trask. Your legacy continues to inspire.

It was an honor and privilege to create "Carole and friends," a commerative sculpture to remember past loved ones.

I have created several commerative sculptures for clients over the years, and each of them touched me in a way that is hard to describe.

It seems to take in some sort of responsibility where I feel I need to do justice to a person I have never met.

In an odd way, I truly feel like we do meet through the process of making art.

I hope I did you proud, Carole and friends.
