Mommy and Me classes at the library can be a great way to fill the schedule. Some don't even need registration—you can just pop in! Those can be a bit hit or miss, though, since sometimes they get pretty crowded. My favorites in the area are:

The Acreage Branch
Fridays @ 10.15 am - Wonderful Ones
Registration required

Royal Palm Beach Branch
Fridays @ 10.30 am - Hooray for toddlers
No registration needed

Wellington Branch
Tuesdays @ 10.15 am - Terrific toddlers

There's also a big pool area with slides and cabanas, boat rides every 15 min, a mining game for kids, and lots of other animals. If you live in the area, re-entry is allowed within the same day🦒 @lioncountrysafari by @loxiemama

@schoolhouse_childrens_museum This one is a bit of a drive but it may be worth it. This is a two-story indoor (and outdoor) playground with a gated area for toddlers and a dedicated room for the programs they offer, including mommy and me classes. taken in Delray Beach, Florida by @loxiemama

Camellia Park. It sits under 2 giant Banyan trees 🪾 which provide a lot of shade, it's fully fenced, and the ground is covered in mulch. taken in Royal Palm Beach, Florida by @loxiemama

The toddler area in Ninja Kidz gym can be fun for toddlers learning to climb and balance. On weekdays and as soon as they open (9:00 am) is the best time to have a quiet time and allow the little kiddos to focus on the skill they are developing. taken in Ninja Kidz Action Park - Palm Beach County by @loxiemama

Ms. Nicola with Tracie's music together. She's really good at what she does and very engaging. The kids will get a chance to actually play some instruments 🥁 Closest location to our area is Downtown at the Gardens. It's either by semester or drop-in classes. by @loxiemama

The Tot Lot at Tiger Shark Cove Park 🛝 I wish more playgrounds had sprinklers and misters to beat the Florida heat 💦 This one fits the bill. Most areas are designed for older kids though, so even if it's fenced you have to watch them closely. by @loxiemama

I like how at @werockpalmbeach it's all about physical movement and not overstimulation. I think this is ideal for my boy and he'll enjoy it more and more as he grows up. There's even a zip line inside 🐒 by @loxiemama
