EP. 01 - @charlottesimone

So, what are cool girls wearing this winter?

For episode one, we’re talking about the nostalgic, unapologetically bold designs of London-based designer Charlotte Simone.

Her first winter drop of 2026 explores what the brand describes as the “quiet magic of winter mornings”, embracing the optimism that comes with every new chapter of life.

And maybe that’s exactly what makes these coats so special. They’re not just about keeping warm. They’re about making an entrance.

NYFW? Done. Milan Fashion Week? Done. Paris Fashion Week? Done. So now it’s time to focus on what really matters…
Skirts and more skirts.
For Spring/Summer 2027, Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons delivered 63 looks and one thing was impossible to ignore: skirts were the main character. by @loxxa_mag

To talk about the Met Gala is to accept that there will always be looks we love and others that truly engage with the theme of the year. Taste is subjective, as Immanuel Kant famously argued: ‘judgments of beauty are based on personal pleasure.’ Still, for me, this selection of best-dressed feels undeniable.
From May 10, 2026, to January 10, 2027, Metropolitan Museum of Art will be filled with hundreds of works centring the dressed body. It’s only fitting, then, that the 2026 Met Gala theme is ‘Fashion Is Art.’
While a dress code can be interpreted in many ways, celebrities, artists, and guests attending fashion’s biggest night should approach their bodies as blank canvases, allowing the clothes to speak for themselves. It’s not about the person wearing the look, it’s about the artwork they embody.
As every year, there were standout looks, outrageous moments, and a few missteps. But fashion is, at its core, a celebration, so let’s focus on the ones that truly delivered. taken in Sydney, Australia by @loxxa_mag

Okkkk, now that we can talk about something else rather than the unbelievable, unforgettable, brilliant performance by Justin Bieber, can we talk about looks?
Coachella is the first big festival of the year and it kinda sets the tone, and the trends, for the next festivals all over the world.
Whatever influencers, models and singers wear at Coachella, we’re going to wear at our next festival. Am I right?
We are so used to seeing boho skirts, tiny tops, cowboy boots, flower crowns and body chains posing in front of the spiral tower of the Ferris wheel, but this year… this year less was more. More legs, less clothes.
And we loved it. by @loxxa_mag

JAQUEMUS
The Spring/Summer show opened with a little boy running barefoot through the Orangerie at Versailles, opening the doors to a room filled with people wearing cool clothes… or should I say masterpieces?
This little boy carried more than we could see a “olho nu”. He was Simon, and Simon was him. With all the dreams, expectations and beliefs, this child opened the door to his imagination and let us in, presenting a collection inspired by his family. A long line of peasant farmers from the south of France.
The palette was neutral: whites, stripes and blacks, which made me wonder… is this the end of my colourful, playful wardrobe?
You know when they say you can tell whether a designer loves or hates women? I think Simon loves us.
Beautiful silhouettes that highlight a woman’s natural lines. Décolletés styled in an empowering way.
The entire show reminded me of European summers: beautiful men, sun-kissed skin, tan lines, scarves, soft cottons and delicate lace.
The kind of nostalgia that makes you miss living in Europe. by @loxxa_mag

MARC JACOBS
With the statement: “Memories, both bittersweet and beautiful are a faculty of purpose influencing current and future actions. Who we are, what we create, what we leave behind and what we carry forward”, Marc Jacobs introduced us to a whole new world of nostalgia and strength, reminding us the discipline of looking forward, even in the hardest of times.

Is there still hope?

Layers, layers, layers. Did we say layers?
Details, accessories: the more, the better. Forget the 2020 “clean girl” aesthetic.
Welcome to 2025: the COOL GIRL era.
Think: swimsuits with belts, leather skirts, layered tees
and shirts, oversized sunglasses, all in one outfit?
Yes, please.
To sum it all up, the message is loud and clear: in 2025, more is more.

This was LOXXA’s first article back in June 2025, when the idea of launching an online fashion magazine was just beginning.

I guess fashion is cyclical, and nine months later, this article isn’t entirely accurate anymore.
2026… is this the end of my colourful wardrobe?

@marcjacobs , @jacquemus , @louisvuitton , @miumiu ‘s ideas for Spring 2026 bring a whole new mood: the darker, the better.

Strong silhouettes, heavier looks, neutral combinations and almost monarchy-inspired vibes.

If there’s one thing all the major fashion houses have in common, it’s the strong message they share: clothes were made to be worn, like life is meant to be lived, not admired from afar.

Issue One: The Noise, The Mood, The Movement
From Europe’s edge to Australia’s sun…

LOXXA is the new bold, disruptive, expressive and emotionally rooted in intuition fashion magazine.
We are bold, but not loud for attention.
We are clean but unpredictable.
A bit weird, a bit iconic, open-minded, unexpected.

A worldwide magazine that doesn’t believe in borders, age or race.
We believe fashion runs in our blood and goes beyond trends, into culture.

Lis-born, Sydney-based.
While in Europe everything moves fast, the tailors are colourful and the buildings romantic, Australian colours are sober, the expression of a happy, slow and relaxed lifestyle that reminds us the importance of living in the present moment.

Our main goal is not to set trends.
We spotlight what’s shifting fashion, brands with something to say and people with style that speak louder than words.
Articles for independent minds and breakdowns.
We tell stories that go beyond what’s on the hangers.

Not everything is fashion… but This is. by @loxxa_mag
