Thank you to everyone who listened to Lifetime this year. Thank you to the ones that purchased it, shared it, and had nice words about it. It doesn’t go unnoticed.
I’ve always been skeptical about writing something like this, but I didn’t want it to be lost in the ocean. So if you read this far, welcome join this lil story with me.

Making this album and the label was a huge step for me. I’ve always had my doubts about it but it was that one thing that kept me going.
It was kinda difficult making this project for almost 3 years. I was unemployed last year and all I had in mind was finish the album and also release it on my own record label.
Lots of work for just one person, but that’s the magic of it too.

I knew how I wanted it to sound but the ideas had to land from space to the ground. It’s a big change sonically comparing it from my older records and I was scared that ppl didn’t like it or didn’t find it that “experimental” but in the end I had to focus and remember it was my idea an no one else’s.

While making it I had a lot of references from records, photography, design… but the one I have to make a remark are the robots. I’ll be forever thankful to Guyman for creating Crydamoure and all Le Knight Club tracks. (Go check it in case you haven’t.)
I had the chance to talk to Serge Nicolas, graphic designer who made lots of Crydamoure art-covers and also Daft Punk’s. I contacted him to make the art cover, but it never saw the light because at the time I was broke lol. Anyway it’s always a nice story to talk about the process.
And in some type of way, be close to one of the main references of the album.

(Almost) Every track has a meaning, hidden message or a story behind, the origin of the label’s name… but I guess I'll talk about it another time (or I’ll still keep the mystery :-))

Lastly I wanna thank everyone that contributed on the project and understood what it meant to me. To Martha for letting me present my debut album and label in such nice place as NTS.
To Lorica for having me and make a Lifetime special mix and John Haag for allowing me do a mix with music I’ve always wanted to share.

Time to work on new music.

See u next year ❦・*。 by @loyaltyxix
