Die Songs auf «Just There To Save You» sind weder Spiegel noch blosse Nacherzählung, vielmehr sind sie ein Verweilen. Sie schieben durch die Luft, was zu schwer zu konfrontieren, zu kostbar loszulassen, und unmöglich zu erklären ist – it’s not coming at you, it’s just there to save you.

Der Übergang vom Wachsein in den Traum, von Nüchternheit in den Rausch, vom Definierten ins Undefinierte ist ein Moment des Dazwischen – ein Schweben zwischen Bewusstseins- und Wahrnehmungszuständen. Genau diesem fragilen Zustand widmet sich das Buch «3.8 Hz» und lädt dazu ein, ihn zu erfahren. Aus mehreren Jahren analoger Fotografie hervorgegangen, erkundet es das Spannungsfeld zwischen kognitiver und intuitiver Wahrnehmung, zwischen Verstand und Gefühl.

Midlevels is kind of a good place to be… in general. It’s p steep but there’s an escalator. Although it doesn’t quite carry you up to the peak, it’ll take you far enough to get a bit of a view and something good to eat. All you need is good company really and for some reason I got v lucky with that. <3
Plus if you’ve seen Chungking Express the whole thing is p mind blowing, but that sort of ruins the metaphor lol. taken in Mid Levels, Hong Kong by @lozslvr
