Don’t mind me… just casually standing in what’s soon to be Potter’s Pool 🥹🧜🏼‍♀️ I can’t believe that within a month, this will be my dream pool, right here in the garden. From a giant hole in the ground to my very own little slice of heaven. I AM SO EXCITED! And I know you lot are too 😂 . Big up to @spaflo_ltd Rich and Luan. This is going to be EPIC!!!!!!!! by @lpdathome
Hello you beautiful people💕 Here’s a snippet of our spare room taken for @housebeautifuluk You can watch my house tour on their You tube (link in bio) I adore this room. We have soooo many guests and we like to think of our home as a haven for all of those that we love. This colour washed pink room (literally the same colour on wall, ceiling and wardrobes), brings comfort and joy. So much so that Theo and I regularly sleep in it too! The hotel next door 😝 Paint @lick Pink 06 Bedding @bed.threads (yea, yea, I’ve bought a steamer now for the creases 😂) Pillow @gucci Vase @velvetsmokeltd Flowers by @stemsbyemz Candle @velvetsmokeltd Side table I got from a vintage shop years ago Blinds @koullaluciainteriors . Dream garden complete 🥰 Today the last piece to the puzzle arrived, our third sofa. I’ve said it before, but T and I use the garden like another room in our home. And that’s the way it should be in my opinion. If you’re lucky enough to have a garden, make it beautiful. So this is our outdoor living room. We have so many guests at our home and this year we have really made the most of this space near the house. Getting rid of our big table made all the difference. We just didn’t need it as we lay all the food out on the kitchen table and bbq food should always be eaten on laps 😜 Our original plan was to build an outdoor kitchen but we have come to realise that actually, the wooden sides you can get from @biggreenegguk give enough space for cooking. Prep is done in the kitchen. So we spent the money we had saved for that on another @theconranshopofficial sofa. These are spenny BUT so worth it. We’ve had the big one in the sun trap at the back of the garden for about 4 years and it looks like new. So we know they can be kept perfectly well outside when covered in bad weather. The rest of the money went on my pond of joy, the parasol that I had been looking for for 3 years, our coffee table and Gus, my mega tree fern. Yep, the tree fern obsession continues. So here you have our perfect spot. Perfect for hosting, for morning coffees, long chats over a class of champs or afternoon naps. ♥️ . We got a pond!!! And OMG, who knew the joy it would bring? This all started when me and my Auntie Deb (my mutual garden lover), were trying to work out what to put on the patio. Initially we were looking for unique flower beds and instead, came across this handmade beauty of a pond from @plantsforponds.co.uk It is absolute perfection and worth every penny. We couldn’t love it anymore. So much so that we had an opening ceremony for it yesterday 🤣 See slide 3. You know we like to celebrate pretty much everything! Lucy at Plants for Ponds has been absolutely brilliant. Sharing all her tips and knowledge and telling us which plants to get. Just excellent customer service. We now have 4 fish, named by our family and friends. Belinda, Cactus, Otis and Banana (the only word our 1 year old nephew, Gus, can say. Kinda worked out perfectly considering one of the fish is yellow 😂🍌) I’ve got myself a little stool and I have spent hours just sat watching the little fellas swim around. The perfect edition to our beautiful garden. I reckon everyone needs a pond, don’t you?! ♥️ . #lpdathome #lisapotterdixon #pond #garden #gardeninspo #gardenideas #gardening by @lpdathome

It’s true, I love stuff! But beautiful stuff with memories and stories. Like the vintage glass bottles that were my Nan and Grandads. To the “dance” sign from our wedding day. To the @velvetsmokeltd Filthy Rose candle and I quit in 1985 Cigarette vase that Lia put our heart and soul into. Fill your home with things you love and that make you smile. 😊 . Our front room ♥️ A place that’s seen many parties, a sofa that has seen many naps, and marble tables that have seen many a card game. I wanted to make this a multi-functional, sexy room. When we did the extension we took 1/3 of the dining room to extend this room, and 2/3 to make our utility room. Best decision ever. I decided to take the ceiling light away and paint the whole thing in a dark grey. @farrowandball Railings. Complemented by the romantic contrast of F&B Sulking room pink. Taking away the ceiling light meant we had space for more lamps, and thanks to @anemone_interiors we have some absolute beauties, including this rare 7ft Tommaso Barbi palm that we actually created @velvetsmokeltd over when we were putting it together. The ice cream picture and the two painted mirrors are very special. The 🍦was Theo’s mum and dad’s so we knew we wanted it pride of place. And the mirrors were painted by my Great, great, great Grandma for my great, great Grandma’s wedding. And they were left to me by my beautiful Nanna, Doris. The rug is brilliant if you have dogs. It’s by @ruggable_uk x @matthewwilliamson and cleans up a dream. Everything else was basically sourced by Lia. Having a business partner who finds gems like this is amazing and expensive 🤣 Everything in our home has a story. That’s the way it should be💕 . 🪩THE HOUSE THAT DISCO BUILT 🪩 What an honor to have our home featured in the August edition of @housebeautifuluk magazine! And doesn’t she look gorgeous!!!😍 For us, our home is all about storytelling. Having pieces that are unique and have a history. I love imagining who loved them before us. That is the joy of anything vintage. I’ll post more pics over the coming days. But for now, WOW and a HUGE thank you to the amazing team. Our home is our pride and joy and to see it in all its glory on the pages of a magazine is just magic. . Because some times, all it takes is a lick of paint! We’ve had Luan over for the past couple of days repainting the kitchen. We haven’t changed the colour, it’s still the beautiful @lick Pink 01. The perfect, soft, cosy pink that changes shades depending on the light. Very happy it’s now available @bandq_uk as I didn’t have enough so just popped there to get some. We repaint the kitchen every year and it makes a huge difference. We host so much that it’s almost impossible to avoid a bit of Ragu or a splash of champs up the wall, so a yearly repaint just freshens everything up. I’ll post a full room pic tomo but for now, here’s Diddy who, as you can imagine, has been a great helper for Luan. Particularly when he ate the roller 🤪😂 . . #lpdathome #interiordesign #lickpaint #kitchen . I paid for the paint by @lpdathome
Get yourself a friend who finds the coolest vintage homeware!!! @anemone_interiors has done it again with this 80’s ice cream scoop and spoon set. Have you ever seen anything more iconic?!! 🍦 by @lpdathome
