If Robert Fripp or Steve Morse played in Defeated Sanity… Sorry for the slop, I think this is as good as I can get it with this absurd picking method.

Our debut single “Incipient” is officially out on all streaming platforms. This is the first complete song we wrote as a band, as well as the first we’ve recorded. More material is in store for the fall….

Here’s a quick one, the solo from Blood Atonement by Revocation. Usually don’t like doing direct audio but I don’t have my monitors with me.

Probably a canon event for most musicians lol. Relearning Acid Rain for @yupan_zhao ‘s recital is equal parts exciting and disheartening 🤣 I know full well that I could probably find better playthroughs of this deep in the trenches of my camera roll from my prime Petrucci glazer phase.

Doesn’t feel right to alt pick 5-7-8 type riffs, so here’s It’s Torn Away by Veil of Maya with all downstrokes (ofc not counting the octaves which I wanted to tack on at the end). This is a little more janky than most of my videos, but I wanted to accurate depict my physical limit for consistent eighth note downpicking, which tapers off around the tempo of this song.

Surprise, I’m practicing @carbombofficial yet again for our tribute ensemble @nine_circles_ma (shameless plug). We’re preparing The Sentinel, an absolute classic of the repertoire. for this week’s rehearsal.

already put this on my story but I figured I need to post more content on my page lol. My timing’s a little wack in some spots but this was really an off-the-cuff thing. Anyway shoutout @glacierscollapse
