This afternoon I had the unique opportunity to meet @kamranonbike , visiting California to showcase his cycling adventures in 31 of 54 countries in Africa, an endeavor that picks back up in a few weeks to include more countries. The tenacity, perseverance in such extreme circumstances on a bicycle is one thing, but the profound experience culturally, sharing stories of those don’t have the opportunity or platform. Much of this is done via photography, video, and magnificent drone footage. Kamran causes us to pause, reflect on our learnings, open up ideas, acceptance of culture, and diversity which makes us unique. To me, that is a gift of an ambassador to the world, to show another side, a side you may not ever know but highlights the beauty of who we truly are. Please check out his YouTube or instagram, his travels are awe inspiring but as is his work with certain foundations in Africa.
