Maddie has officially GRADUATED with her bachelors in psych in just TWO years!! Not only did she take extra in-person & online classes each semester plus summer classes - she also worked 20 hours a week, served her local youth group & campus AND regularly called us on her OWN actual accord 😆😂🥰 She is brilliant, kind, tenacious and a wonderful human being. 🥳🩷🥳🩷HAPPY 13TH BIRTHDAY CHARLOTTE - OFFICIAL TEENAGER! It’s been such a fun ride this year watching you start middle school, start competitive volleyball, be in your school musical, be involved in youth group, softball, get straight As, make new sweet friendships and still cherish and strengthen the old ones. You are smart & funny & athletic and ALL the things - but mostly you are just a wonderful human being. You have fantastic character and are empathetic, understanding, flexible, tender hearted, helpful and kind. My soul dog Maya is 11 today! 🐾🥳💜 She is a walking miracle and a complete Baddie! Haha!
We had to X-ray her hips this summer and the vet discovered she has lived her whole life with a bullet shattered in her back leg from her days on the streets before she was rescued. You would never know it as she is still an athletic, energized crazy thang at 11! Her body is covered in scars from her previous life. Yet she could not be a more loyal, loving family dog. The 9 years we have had her have been the best years of my life. She is still successfully fighting off her cancer with immunotherapy treatments but her oncologist said to plan on this being her last year. So it was extra toys and tennis balls and treats this birthday!
I will be greatful for every day we get. She has changed me forever. Thank you God. I love you Maya 🐾🥳💜🐾🥳💜 by @lrf8282
