Spring break ‘25
We rode roller coasters, saw rockets, ate at Lucy’s favorite restaurant, hunted for seashells, fed Hope the dolphin, stumbled onto a sand castle festival and Lucy got to be on stage for a cirque du soleil show. A successful trip!

We rang in fall in the forest and even snuck in a birthday party. (Not pictured: soggy everything from pop-up downpour with uncovered tent) taken in Pisgah National Forest, North Carolina by @lrgtweets

From the tiny little puppy named Taylor Swift we picked up at the shelter to the old gray Kona Bear. She was our first born and an absolute pain in my butt most days, but she was a very sweet girl. Some of my favorite memories are her refusal to climb stairs after we moved to a second floor apartment, only crossing streets at crosswalks, throwing up the birthday cake I spent all day making, finding every treat we ever gave her buried in the couch, and the way she always kept our yard free from any menacing squirrel, bird, or opossum. It was quite the adventure and I’m sad it’s over. Here’s hoping doggie Heaven has no allergies and all the salmon skin a girl could ask for. by @lrgtweets

4 hot, sunny days split between all 3 universal Orlando parks made for a fun way to ring in Lucy’s 8th birthday. She walked 10+ miles every day, braved the waterslide that spit her out 10 ft above the water, and found a new favorite coaster - Velocicoaster (even mom couldn’t keep up with her 8 rides). We saw every corner of every park and have the sore legs to prove it, but we had a whole lot of fun!
