Project Spotlight: Lexus of Vancouver | 2026 The LRS team designed the 225,000 SF luxury dealership in Vancouver, Washington, bringing together a two-story showroom, vehicle service center, adjacent four-level parking structure, and dedicated detailing and car wash facilities. Expansive windows and a cool, neutral palette of gray aluminum composite panels and painted stucco give the design a sense of sophistication and simple, modern elegance that defers to the beauty of the vehicles. The recently completed 51,000 SF expansion of the Deschutes County Courthouse adds two modern courtrooms and essential support spaces while giving the building a renewed civic presence in downtown Bend. Designed to complement the original building while establishing a distinct contemporary identity, the addition pairs dark brick with light cement panels and features exposed mass timber beams that bring warmth to the new lobby. The expanded entry and screening areas also improve security, circulation, and the experience for staff and visitors. How do you transform a nearly century-old post office into a hotel that feels rooted in history without turning the past into a theme? At The Westman in downtown Bend, LRS Senior Interior Designer Jennifer Baines led LRS’s interior design work with an approach grounded in restraint, local storytelling, and an unmistakable sense of place. In her recent article for HOTELS magazine, Jenny explores how preserved historic details, regional influences, local artistry, and carefully considered moments of discovery came together to create a 23-room boutique hotel that honors its origins while offering guests something entirely new. We’re proud to have helped bring OnPoint Community Credit Union’s new flagship branch and commercial banking office in downtown Portland to life. The 17,400 SF space thoughtfully blends the building’s architectural heritage with a fresh, contemporary design. Historic green slate elements integrate seamlessly into the design palette and pair with clean, modern detailing to create a timeless aesthetic that reflects both the building’s legacy and OnPoint’s forward-looking vision. From a handcrafted metal-and-glass archway by a local Portland artist to a custom mural celebrating the surrounding neighborhood, every detail was designed to strengthen the connection to the community and site’s history.
