Today, La Roche University Softball pauses to honor the lives forever changed, the heroes who answered the call, and the resilience that united a nation. We remember with gratitude, respect, and a promise to never forget.

There is so much more to us than what people see on the field.💙💜

Today, September 10, is World Suicide Prevention Day, and September is Suicide Awareness Month.

As college athletes, we are taught to be strong. To fight through the strikeouts, the losses, the pressure, the exhaustion, and the moments that make us question ourselves. We are taught to get back up and keep going.

But sometimes, the person standing beside you is fighting a battle you know nothing about.

Behind every jersey is a person.
Behind every number is a story.
Behind every teammate is a life that matters far beyond the field.

Stats don’t matter when it comes to someone’s life. Wins don’t matter. Losses don’t matter. The scoreboard doesn’t matter. What matters is the person standing beside you.

So check in. Ask how someone is really doing. Listen. Be there.

Because our numbers, records, and statistics will eventually fade, but the impact we have on the people around us can last forever.

More than an athlete. More than a jersey number. We are people, and we are here for each other. 💙💜

❤️🥎Happy Father’s Day to the dads who have always been our biggest fans.

Thank you for every early morning, every long drive, every lesson, and every moment of unwavering support. Your encouragement, sacrifices, and beliefs in us have shaped who we are both on and off the feild.

From the stands to every milestone along the way, you’ve always been there cheering us on.

Today, we celebrate the fathers, father figures, and role models who have made a lasting impact on our lives.

Thank you for being our biggest fan.❤️

Happy Father’s Day from La Roche University Softball!
