The Del Webb Southern Harmony Amenity Center in Murfreesboro, TN strikes a balance between two identities—Nashville’s unmistakable musical soul and the quiet, rural heritage of Middle Tennessee. The design transforms the familiar farmhouse archetype into something more expressive, using tall glass gables that glow like lanterns, exposed timber framing that recalls the structure of local horse barns, and cross laminated timber that brings a contemporary warmth to the interior.

A rich palette of charcoal, whiskey brown, and aged brass sets the tone, creating an atmosphere that feels both refined and deeply rooted in place. Custom artwork inspired by rhythm and movement, along with furnishings crafted by local makers, reinforces the connection to Music City—with textures, tones, and details that echo the cadence of the region.

A bold new chapter for North Carolina Department of Health & Human Services (NCDHHS).

Anchored by an eleven story 460,000 SF office tower, nine story parking deck, and surrounded by walkable green spaces, this is the first phase for the visionary NCDHHS campus. The design seamlessly integrates timeless architecture, community connectivity and ignited spark for the Blue Ridge Corridor in Raleigh, NC. With a strong focus on sustainability, accessibility, and human health, the campus promotes walking, biking, and transit—creating an inclusive environment that fosters community gathering and access to the spectacular neighboring North Carolina Museum of Art grounds. Envisioned as both vibrant and approachable, the site supports wellness, enhances public transparency, and strengthens health services delivery for North Carolinians across the state.

The West Gate Expansion at Charleston International Airport (@iflychs) represents a strategic collaboration between LS3P and @corganinc, developed in close partnership with the Charleston Regional Aviation Authority as part of the Terminal Development Program.

Designed to respond to immediate growth while supporting long-term modernization, the project introduced temporary West Gates that expand capacity without disrupting daily operations. Through phased delivery, active stakeholder engagement, and a design approach rooted in Charleston’s regional identity, the team delivered a flexible, passenger-focused solution that keeps the airport moving forward.

Our aviation team will be in Charlotte March 18–20 connecting with airport leaders from across North Carolina at the NCAA Annual Conference.

Bridging a more than 55-foot ravine, Bell Hall at @unckenanflagler serves as both a physical and symbolic connector, linking to the existing McColl Building while establishing a welcoming new gateway and strengthening the identity of the business school.

Inside, flexible and collaborative learning environments support growth and evolving educational needs. Outside, the building advances UNC's sustainability vision through anticipated LEED Platinum certification, reclaimed water systems, innovative stormwater management, low-carbon design strategies, and alignment with the university's Three Zeros initiative.

Bell Hall demonstrates how architecture can bring people, places, and purpose together, creating a more connected, sustainable future for higher education.

Designed around a whole-person model of care, the campus creates intuitive, welcoming environments that make resources easier to access while supporting dignity, independence, and meaningful human connection.

Through integrated planning, flexible service delivery, and people-centered spaces, the design streamlines the client experience, fosters collaboration among providers, and positions the campus to adapt to the evolving needs of Wake County for decades to come.

Rising at the gateway to downtown Durham, @thenovusdurham brings together multifamily, condominium, retail, and amenity spaces in a vibrant mixed-use destination. Designed in partnership with Austin Lawrence Partners and constructed by @sametcorp, this 27-story, 650,000 GSF development features 188 multifamily residences, 54 condominium units, 22,000 SF of street-level retail, a 450-space parking deck, and an extensive collection of indoor and outdoor amenities that support connectivity, wellness, and community.

For Edgewater Ventures, Landmark at North Hills repositions a 1984 office building with a fresh, contemporary amenity experience. The renovation revitalizes the building's shared spaces through a comprehensive refresh of approximately 7,500 SF of interior amenities, expanded program offerings, and a more intuitive, connected user experience.

Aligned with North Hills' ongoing redevelopment, the enhanced amenity suite responds to today's workplace expectations-introducing flexible gathering areas, an elevated lobby arrival, and a cohesive, modern design language that re-energizes the building while honoring its established character.

Located along the historic Cape Fear River, Proximity at Watermark redefines coastal multifamily living by anchoring 248 luxury dwelling units within a panoramic backdrop of river views and direct pier access. The premier amenity spaces flow seamlessly from a double-height clubhouse with floor-to-ceiling glazing to an outdoor pool terrace. Additional shared spaces include a third-floor sky bar and covered rooftop lounge oriented to capture sunset views.

Resident amenities support a range of modern daily needs, including a co-working space, business center, fitness room, golf simulator, and coffee bar. By concentrating architectural expression and sophisticated finishes within these shared areas, the design maintains its character resulting in a cohesive, site-responsive approach to coastal residential living.
