We all have our comfort films, tv shows, and videos. Many mental health related apps offer to create custom videos for days when we need some self-care whether it is to relax and destress or invigorate ourselves to get things done. Unfortunately, many of these apps have data collection policies that some people might find uncomfortable especially those in marginalized groups or who otherwise feel vulnerable.

In this video I am sharing a free and relatively easy way to (legally! ) create your own selfcare video using the free version of DaVinci Resolve. My example is a Sakural themed video, but you can make one focused on journaling, a spa day, beaches, music, or anything that fits your needs.

These videos also make great customizable gifts including for people who normally avoid anything relating to selfcare. (No, I am not referencing my partner, but I may or may not be referencing relatives. :)).

The Sakura clips are from Vecteezy and the music is Mana Two from Freepd.

I updated these neutral aesthetic free day & date stickers for 2024 (plus a 2025 one and a blank for you to fill in). You can cut them with a cutting machine if you have one. The download link is on the Beacons page linked to in my bio.

For my May 2026 Cover spread I used a Crayola Colors of the World Collection marker, a Daiso sticker, a sticker from an element on Vecteezy, a sticker from an element on DesignBundles, a sheet of note paper from Daiso, and beautiful rose and lace washi tape by @leelajournals.

I reviewed both the Crayola Colors of the World Collection Original/Regular Markers and the Crayola Colors of the World Fine Line Collection on my YouTube channel (linked to on the Beacons page linked to on my bio- I am also lspringpapers on YouTube).

I have videos featuring hauls from @leelajournal’s shop and one on how I use stationary from her shop on my YouTube channel and a hauls playlist (linked to on the Beacons page linked to in my bio).

Eczema is not fun and the amount of money you spends on mosturizers can get to be a bit much. It is still better than a wrong diagnosis that does not fit your symptoms, health history, nor family history. The amount women are not believed about their own bodies, health history, and family history is absurd.

I decided to make a spread with the supplies I need so I stop discovering I am almost out of one of them. The journal is because stress makes it worse.
