(Long caption below)

Crazy to think that three years ago, I was just a bumbling guy straight out of high school who knew absolutely nothing and was very sheltered. Three years ago, I was filled with myself and only sought my own goal. And I didn't even know that!

What changed, then? How could someone so full of himself become the person you know and see today?

The answer is Christ, and those people that came into my life as a result of Christ.

He guided me to attend Bible studies, to study His word and truth. He turned me towards going to church each Sunday, to live with fellow brothers in Christ, to attend small-group meetings where every single person cared for me. Even to speak at church! No words can express how thankful I am to all of you, and there are simply too many to ping in this post description. So, @sjsuchristians @churchinsanjose, this goes to you for literally transforming my life.

I want to thank as well the friends I made over at @sase.sjsu @sjsusce @redphoenixfam for all the networking and fun activities over these years. Whether live or in call, they helped to shape my own interests and my own goals for the future.

Also, to @sjsupeerconnections for showing me how one nurtures someone to grow educationally - something I will always keep in my heart as I move forward.

To my 30W and 31W students - I hope that you'll continue on your path to excel and strive for better, and I'm happy where you are now, even if I might have given you a hard time.

Lastly, my family, who've all been with me these last twenty-one years, and really did guide me and love me. Even if I was rebellious or if I didn't agree, hopefully I will continue to see the value a family provides as I prepare for what's next. I can't contain all my thoughts in one message or description box either.

To end, 1 Corinthians 8:1.

Onward I go, and with God and Christ I go! To growth and to life! taken in San Jose State University by @lstampbeef

"Better to fight and take over what's rightfully ours over fleeing elsewhere and having our sons and daughters deal with what we couldn't. We may lose every battle, but victory is inevitable." - Paraphrased from @americanvirtueorg
