Had a really great chat with @hsancheztv and @danmannarinotv over @pix11news about an array of topics surrounding parenthood, overcoming fear and anxiety, @thelionking- all themes included in my children’s book @sammy_and_his_lion_book

This first book was a huge undertaking and had me coming face to face with my own fears and imposter syndrome. Wouldn’t have been possible without all of you who have continued to support me on this journey.

If you haven’t grabbed your copy yet1 this book makes the perfect stocking stuffer for the upcoming holiday season! Grab yours at the link in my bio!

Shout out to @annequart_ and @kjmoofor and the Disney fam for your early support of this project and my incredible publicists for your exhaustive work in helping me get Sammy’s message out into the world! by @lsteventaylor

I still can’t believe I got to go backstage at @thelionking on Broadway with @natgeo’s @antoni and @disneyonbroadway’s @lsteventaylor, who plays the legendary Mufasa. Being in that space, meeting these incredibly talented people, and witnessing the magic that happens behind the curtain… I’m still speechless. Hear Us Roar! 🔥🦁

Our little lions had a paw-sitively unforgettable day with a special visit from actor and author L. Steven Taylor—Broadway’s own Mufasa in The Lion King and the voice behind the inspiring children’s book Sammy and His Lion! With a dramatic read aloud that had everyone hooked, students learned all about facing fears and believing in the power within. And the fun didn’t stop there…

🐾 Learners took on the Lion Mantra Pledge with pride and let their courage roar!
🐾 Shared real moments when they found their own inner lion and stood tall.
🐾 Jumped headfirst into a fun and inspiring Q&A, asking roar-some questions!

From start to finish, our elementary learners showed their courage and revealed their inner lions. L. Steven Taylor reminded us all that being brave, being bold, being YOU and never giving up can lead to incredible things. Now that’s something to roar about! 💛

A huge thank you to our AMAZING PTA for organizing this unforgettable experience for our VCE pride!
