Women’s health needs so much more research!

I was diagnosed with Adenomyosis which falls under the endometriosis category and I’ve been walking sound undiagnosed for years.

Learning about my diagnosis provided so many answers around why I’ve just felt weird or why my body had functioned the way it has.

I decided in May of 2024 I needed help nothing I was doing was working

Calorie deficit, working out nothing my PCOS/PMOS was making things difficult for me to see progress

Life was passing by and I couldn’t fully live it but the stigma of getting help of being put on peps made me hold onto a script my PcP provided for4 months! I lost out on 4 months of progress and living to te fullest because I listened to folks who had never lived in my body! People who didn’t know what it’s like to work so hard and see no progress because your body is literally work ping against you

So respectfully I don’t want to hear your advice unless you know wha that feels like!

It’s official I’m 54 weeks on my GLP1 journey and I’ve lost 100lbs!

I have 52 to go but I’m so proud of how far I’ve come.

As someone with PCOS I’ve struggled with my weight since my mid 20s and gave up I thought that was my life but a year ago I took control again and worked with a dietitian, incorporated a GLP1, a life style change and started a fitness routine that’s expanded.

And I’m proud to say this journey isn’t over and I’m now working with @withelara_ as I continue on my GLP1 journey.

Weekends that fill your soul and complete your to do list are the best

Trader Joe’s run, a cute coffee shop Costcos, laundry a closet reset and the NYC marathon made for a full weekend by @lstorres

Oh October you entered with a quick breeze and a lot of outings and some warm weather thanks to a quick NOLA trip

9 weeks post op and more tests are in the works

Now that I have a provider willing to listen I have now scheduled and done my mammogram, i just completed genetic counseling and have an appointment with gastroenterology.

I’m a big believer that knowledge is power so getting all the information I can by @lstorres

Working through finding my style and styling my fits
