‼️ BEST LEAD ACTOR NOMINATION ‼️ @theutahfilmfestival

I am beyond thrilled to officially announce that I have earned a Best Lead Actor Nomination at the Utah Film Festival for my performance in Don’t Hang Up. This is my first nomination as a lead actor, and it feels like a monumental milestone in my career. This project was fueled by pure passion and a dedicated team; to see it recognized at this level—without major studio backing—is a true testament to our collective grit and vision. As my personal mantra (and the ink on my back that I designed) says: “Refuse to be forgotten, always be remembered.”

Ron (@ronmccantsjr), thank you for trusting me with this character and for your incredible vision as a writer and EP. Giving me the space to shine as a Producer, Choreographer, and now a Nominated Lead Actor has been the journey of a lifetime.

Lyndsay (@lyndsaypaetty @mgmtbylp), you’ve been my partner in crime for 10 years; having you with me at the Cannes Film Festival was an absolute honor, and loyalty like ours is hard to find.

Julie (@jm_gta @go2talent), the momentum we have heading into this next season is undeniable!

I also want to give a massive shoutout to my acting coach, Marcus Folmar (@folmar.official), for his incredible guidance in helping me prepare for the role of Jeremy. Marcus, I am so thankful to have a mentor who truly allowed me to be an artist and welcomed all my ideas without judgment—it was that creative freedom that let us craft and transform into Jeremy over those weeks. This nomination is a testament to our work together, and I couldn’t have done it without your expertise. Thank you for everything, brother; you are an amazing coach and a true professional, even if you are a Nupe! 06 🤙🏾

Every person on this team received a nomination or award, which speaks volumes about the caliber of this production. We are just getting started! @alain_inthecut @chillvibes @diamondbatiste7 @pjaiparker @thekevinmayes @imdb @imdbpro @strongblacklead @sagaftra @onepiecenetflix @breakfastclubam #LTHinesII #LeadActor #UtahFilmFestival #CannesFilmFestival #DontHangUp taken in Hollywood - Los Angeles by @lthinesii
