The FIT Improv Show FOR KIDS at Folkestone Live...

Wowee woweeeeeee! 🎭✨️🧸🥰🎊🎉

On Sunday 11th October @folkestoneimprovtheatre made our kids' show debut @quarterhouse_uk Folkestone as part of @folkestonelivecic

And it was SO. MUCH. FUN.

Thanks you to the brave fitties for trying something new. To Pete, Josh & Dan on tech at Quarterhouse for making pretty lights and clear sounds and for their awesome chilled vibes in the quick turnaround. 🎤💡🚥

Thanks to Theresa, Michele, Sarah and Sasha at Folkestone Live. Your work goes wayyyyy beyond one weekend.

I heard a rumour that there was more original theatre in the building over the weekend than the entire rest of the year. Which is incredible! 🤘🙌👏

Thanks to @tristanparkes on all the instruments 🎹 🎸 🥁 we absolutely treasure you ❤️

And thanks to our wondering audience and FIT community. ❤️ 😍 💖

Our 14th FIT WEEKENDER (and final of 2026)

🎶Improvise a Disney Musical🎶
with Lucy Trodd & Jordan Clarke

📆Saturday 14th Nov
🕝1-5pm
📌 St John's Church Hall, Folkestone
(5 mins from station 54 mins from London, free parking)
✨️£50

🎹 Back for a 3rd time, Jordan and Lucy have created a NEW workshop to explore Disney musicals (suitable for returners and beginners).

Whether you love Disney or not, the character archetypes and story arcs are so familiar that it'll enable us to dive right into making instant character songs and protagonist ballads.

Long time pals and collaborators Lucy & Jordan (Showstopper! The Improvised Musical) create a nurturing environment. And when you wish upon a star...you can do anything. So, let it go! It's off to improvise a Disney musical we go!

Create from connection, not tension. Learn by doing. 🥰✨️🎶

I love this time of year on the beach. Such a nice temperature in the sea and air. Beautiful light. Like-minded people chewing the breeze and shooting the fat

How lucky we are. To carve out these moments in a busy life.

Thank you Folkestone.

It can feel like the town is having a tough time with all the building works/improvements and waiting for the sports centre/road of remembrance/ leas lift/ burstin to reopen... but look how much beauty is on our doorstep too.

Thank you @iamsolsticeyoga for getting us up for another sunrise. Each one different. Loved the cheeky energy in class and the sea.

Thanks to @penelopejones2016 for your beautiful friendship 🏊‍♂️ 👙 🏊‍♀️ 🧘‍♀️ 🧘‍♀️ 🙏 🌅 🌄 🌊 by @ltrodd
