Throwback 5 months ago to the lure and fish that started this whole thing, this was my first ever attempt at a whiting glide not know what to use I used all the wrong stuff to make it but managed to get a fish 2nd cast using it not a very big one but was so stoked with it couldn’t believe that I had actually caught something on a lure I made just sitting on the garage floor carving it out of timber, now addicted to making them and seeing what others can catch with them. #timberlures #fishingaustralia #flatheadfishingaustralia by @lttlures

140mm yellowbelly finished up for @bass_bikes_beers_, made from camphor laurel with first for me tilapia style paint job which I hadn’t done before didn’t really even know what a tilapia looked like until I was requested to try and replicate it.
Made this one floating gets a real nice topwater wake action going on the slow roll and with a small chin eight slow sinks and gets the real wide tail action on it hopefully can entice a few cod.

One I finished up a week or so ago, little tailor swimbait 140mm long, 50 grams floating/suspends depending on how heavy hooks I rig it with. Has a nice topwater wake when slow rolled back to the boat and with a small 2g chin weight allows it to slow sink to fish deeper water.

First time properly sight casting at these crocs with the drone and managed to find a handful but none wanted to play, was driving further up river before spotting a 🐊 laying right infront of me so put the the drone up and threw some lures at them.
Looking back at the videos should’ve slowed down and positioned myself better to be able to fish slower and across the current that was ripping out to have better control with the lures and be able to really sit it infront their face longer always next time so keen to capture one eat a big lure
props to @josh.dfishing @nevsfishing yous make it look so easy

RAFFLE — @LTTlures 180mm Timber

I’ve partnered with Liam from @lttlures to raffle one of his handmade baits — a 180mm, 90g camphor laurel timber lure, specifically designed for Mulloway.

💵 Tickets are $10 each.
10 tickets total per bait.
Choose your own ticket number, subject to availability.

The raffle will be drawn live at a designated time once all tickets are sold. If you want to purchase the bait outright, just buy all 10 tickets.

✉️ DM me for tickets.
⁉️ Ask any questions in the comments.

WHY I’M DOING THIS:

The best advertisement for any lure is seeing your mate catch a good fish on one.

I firmly believe these baits will account for their fair share of Mulloway in the near future — but people need to be using them for that to happen.

Garage lure makers can’t get the shelf space in tackle stores that the big brands can, which makes it harder for them to get the exposure they deserve. Let’s change that.

These lures are works of art and deserve a price tag well above what Liam charges.

$10.
1 in 10 chance.
