LTY — La Petite Tournée 2026

From late August to early October, I’ll be touring across Europe. The trip starts at Raster Electric Campfire in France, followed by a residency at Elektronmusikstudion EMS in Stockholm. After that: Linz, London, Berlin, Hamburg, Leipzig, Tallinn, and finally Riga for the opening of Skaņu Mežs.

...is what I (Korts) wrote to the main organizer of Skaņu Mežs a few months ago, which managed to do the trick and he’s now opening the biggest experimental music festival in the Baltics! What else do you need for an introduction?! Glitch Please is super honored to have his release “Recursing” on the label!

Definitely one of the “flagship” artists of Glitch Please, not just musically, but one of the hardest working artists behind the scenes – bringing you events, providing designs and so on...
You probably know him for his modular works, and rightfully so! In the end, he’s the guy who attached sensors to plants and let them tweak his modulars... and made an album out of it?! 🌱🎛️

The man behind Glitch Please and now, apparently, the record store Helinihe. If only he had more time and energy to focus on his own music... You’ll hear tracks he’s been producing over the course of the past few years, some of which the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre gave him a master’s degree for! Be warned though, he might cover Venetian Snares.

Lai Tsung-Yun (L.T.Y.) is a Taiwanese sound and media artist, curator, and artistic director of Lacking Sound Festival, Taiwan’s leading platform for experimental sound and noise art. His work explores vibration as a physical and cultural force, using sound to investigate perception, space, and new modes of listening. Working across modular synthesis, algorithmic composition, real-time sampling, and signal feedback, Lai has performed and undertaken artist residencies throughout Europe and Asia, including Cité internationale des arts (Paris), Baltic Analog Lab (Riga), and Elektronmusikstudion (EMS) (Stockholm).

Lai Cungjuns jeb “LTY” ir skaņu mākslinieks un mediju mākslinieks no Taivānas.
Viņš ir arī kurators un mākslinieciskais vadītājs “Lacking Sound Festival” – Taivānas vadošajā platformā eksperimentālajai mūzikai un skaņu mākslai. Viņa darbi pēta vibrāciju kā fizisku un “kulturālu” spēku, izmantojot skaņu, lai izzinātu uztveri, telpu un jaunus klausīšanās veidus.
Strādājot ar modulāro sintēzi, algoritmisko kompozīciju, reāllaika samplēšanu un signālu atgriezenisko saiti, Cungjuns uzstājies un piedalījies rezidencēs Eiropā un Āzijā, tostarp “Cité internationale des arts” Parīzē, “Baltic Analog Lab” Rīgā un “Elektronmusikstudion” (“EMS”) Stokholmā.

SKAŅU MEŽS 2026: OPENING NIGHT, a free opening event will take place at Photostudio Sunsstudio (9A Magoņu Street) on October 2, starting 19:00. @sunsstudio_agenskalns

The program consists of composer Eric Wubbels and the TAK ensemble presenting the Riga version of their collaborative piece “interbeing”, flautist Laura Cocks premiering “Skin”, a new composition by Jānis Petraškevičs, Vern Avola with her project Trigger Object, Palestinian underground music veteran Muqata’a, and Taiwanese media artist LTY.

Tajā ar īpaši Rīgai pielāgotu darba “interbeing” izpildījumu uzstāsies amerikāņu komponists Ēriks Vubelss un laikmetīgās mūzikas ansamblis “TAK”. "Caving" führt die internationalen Musiker Sander Saarmets (Estland) und Lai Tsung-Yun (Taiwan) im Rahmen ihrer Deutschlandtour nach Hamburg. Zusammen mit den lokalen Künstler*innen Jan Wegmann, Carmen Kleykens Vidal und Schmeeelz (Ben Samuels) entfaltet sich in der Immanuelkirche Veddel ein narratives Abenteuer, eine audiovisuelle Höhlenexploration.

Dieser Konzertabend ist eine Kooperation von Hörbar und Riss, zwei Orten für experimentelle Musik in Hamburg.

Im Mittelpunkt stehen die Klangwelten der drei verschiedenen modularen Synthesizer-Systeme von Sander, Lai und Jan, die sich mit dem Cello von Carmen und den abstrakten Live-Visuals von Schmeeelz verbinden. 💥 C'était Samedi dernier au Théâtre O(L)tto Ladusch, la fusion entre le label Raster, la cie d'Autres cordes et le Rudeboy Crew donnait à nouveau naissance a une édition du rendez-vous annuel des musiques et performances électroniques !

🙏 Un grand merci aux artistes présent.e.s de nous avoir dévoilé de quoi iels étaient capables.
Aussi et surtout un gros big up aux bénévoles endiablé.e.s, mille mercis à vous de vous être démené.e.s pour que l'évènement puisse avoir lieu !

👀 On en a prit plein les yeux et plein les oreilles, et on a bien hâte de vous retrouver pour de nouvelles aventures !
