Here's to Local 65 showing up and showing out at the International Lineman's Rodeo 2026

Thankful for all the members/officers of this hall that support its members. When one wins we all win.

The ILR is an opportunity to showcase the talent that is in our hall.

It is also an opportunity to meet the best of the best from all over the world. Including vendors, suppliers, and industry leaders.

A group of Centerpoint and Outside Construction members represented Local 66 this past weekend in the competition. A display that we are all one serving our customers.

The Journeyman teams work together to accomplish a task. Lots of training, team building, and grit go into the short minutes that is laid out in the rodeo field. All to be called the best of the best.

We are proud of one of our own for getting to walk the stage! Brother Kevin Zehnder won 4th place in the apprentice written test.

The @linemansrodeokc is a special event for linemen and their families. I’m grateful that after 26 years in this trade, I still get to be part of something that means so much to me.

Thank you to everyone who stopped to say hello, shared a story, shook my hand, or took a few minutes to have a conversation. You’re the reason I love doing what I do, and why I’ll never stop telling the stories of the people who keep the lights on. by @lu66renew

If you are tired, feel knocked down, feel like you've taken two steps back, and/or if you feel like you're losing.
Keep getting up, there's always a reason to fight.

Being your brother's keeper is still alive and active here, and you can experience it at every one of our RENEW meetings.
You are not alone, you have family here at the

Some days are better than others in the line trade, but it's always better than doing anything else 👊🏾⚡

Had to throw away the clothes after this job 🤢 by @lu66renew

by @lu66renew

Blue glass insulators are a rarity in Houston. We collect them whenever we can—even in church clothes.

Climbing railroad poles with multiple crossarms, it's easy to imagine yourself as a lineman in the 1940s. With the courage to climb through multiple energized lines and the determination to build a better life, those linemen got it done.

Over 80 years later we are still trying to better our lives, our working conditions, and our trade. May we work safely, take pride in our craft, and honor those who did the same generations before us.

Here's to another 80. 🫡
