Trail Valley Experience vol.2

Portare i ragazzi di Runaway a scorrazzare sui sentieri delle montagne dove sono nato e cresciuto mi rende sempre tanto orgoglioso. Vedere le persone innamorarsi di luoghi finora sconosciuti e vedere nascere nuove amicizie grazie alla corsa in montagna, mi riempie di gioia.

What started as a way to survive city life became an obsession with exploration. From asphalt to ultras, across Europe and into the Sahara. His journey is about discovering how little you need…and how much you’re capable of.

I went into the desert to run — and I came back transformed.
Pain was my daily companion, silence my teacher.
Out there, under the weight of the sun and my pack, I met parts of myself I had long forgotten.
I found friendship in the unspoken nods, love in the messages I carried in my heart, and strength in the stillness of solitude.
This race stripped me down and rebuilt me, one grain of sand at a time.
The desert doesn’t lie — it shows you who you are.

We’re on for the @mdslegendary Marathon des Sables, 250 km in 6 stages in self-sufficiency across the Sahara Desert.

It started as a project of 4 friends but because of our passion, our connections and our jobs we had the opportunity to develop a specific kit and peculiar tools for the desert.

What makes this race one of the thoughest in the world is the conditions of deprivation from daily comforts for 8 nights in the Sahara desert, between the suffocating heat of the day and the temperature range at night. Running is the easiest part, as easy as it can be.

All you can count on is what you will carry in your backpack, from the first to the last step.

No phone, no external contacts, no personal hygiene, no privacy, no food, no bed, no, no, no…

So don’t look back, don’t hope, don’t think, don’t cry, don’t stop. NOT NOW taken in Sahara Desert, Morocco by @lu__po

Prima che l’estate finisca del tutto, volevamo condividere con voi la Spring Summer Outdoor Guide creata sempre insieme agli amici di @evergreendesignhouse

Quest’anno la guida è tornata in edicola e quindi avevamo bisogno di qualcosa che potesse davvero risaltare. Abbiamo optato per un colore Pantone Green che è utilizzato in tutta la rivista, per le icone, i nomi dei prodotti, i titoli e sulla copertina, che insieme a questa fantastica foto di @matt_georges fa davvero colpo, non credete?

Credo che abbiamo fatto un lavoro davvero fantastico nel catturare il miglior materiale, selezionare i migliori prodotti e fotografare tutti i prodotti testati, rendendoli bellissimi. Ottimo lavoro ragazzi, è sempre un piacere lavorare insieme!

Before summer is completely over, we wanted to share with you the Spring Summer Outdoor Guide we created the design guidelines for @thepilloutdoor

This year the guide is back in newsstands and so we needed something that could really pop out. We opted for a Pantone Green color which is used throughout the mag, for icons, product names, headlines and on the cover, which together with this cool photo by @matt_georges really makes an impression, don’t you think?

The team at The Pill did an awesome job as always at capturing the best material, selecting the best products and shooting all the tested goods, making them look beautiful. Great job everyone, it’s always a pleasure working together! by @lu__po
