GUEST ANNOUNCEMENT!

Yo ho ho Lubbock-Con lovers! In honor of talk like a pirate day, we're bringing in everyone's favorite assassin pirate and master of the dark arts, Matt Ryan! Join us February 27th -28th.

Ryan was born in Swansea, the son of Steve and Maria Evans. He attended schools in Penyrheol before moving on to Gorseinon College, where he completed a BTEC Performing Arts course. He graduated from the Bristol Old Vic in 2003 and joined the Royal Shakespeare Company in 2004. As a child, Ryan appeared as Gavroche in the West End production of Les Misérables. He played Mick Rawson on the CBS series Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior, a character that had been introduced in the Criminal Minds episode "The Fight". He performed the voice and motion capture of Edward Kenway in Ubisoft Montreal's video game Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. In February 2014, it was announced that Ryan was cast as John Constantine in NBC's pilot for Constantine. He starred in all 13 Episodes of the first and only season. He would go on to play the character in CW’s Arrow-verse and various DC animated projects. In 2026, he returned to Edward Kenway for Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynched. by @lubbock_con

The Creed grows as we welcome Magnus Bruun!

�Magnus Bruun is a Danish actor known for a variety of roles across film and television, most recognized for his portrayal of Cnut in The Last Kingdom, Klaus Fisker in Call of Duty and Eivor in Assassins Creed: Valhalla (where he provides the lead male voice, and mo-cap for all iterations of the character).
Though accumulating an impressive portfolio of roles since 2007, it is safe to say that Bruun's calling revealed itself when he took on the role of Cnut in the historical fiction television series, The Last Kingdom. With his striking Viking-like appearance and Danish as his mother tongue, Bruun has embodied the character both physically and mentally. Bruun's filmography also includes productions such as Unforgotten, FBI: International, Brassic, Gentleman Jack, When the Dust Settles, Sprinter Galore and Land of Mine In 2020, Bruun became a fan favorite amongst Assassins Creed fans when it was revealed he voiced the male lead, Eivor, as well as providing mo-cap for the role in Assassins Creed: Valhalla. by @lubbock_con

Next guest announcement!

Victoria Atkin's first voice acting and full performance capture role was lead female Assassin Evie Frye in Assassin's Creed Syndicate where she was nominated and won awards for best character. Since then,
Victoria has worked extensively in games and has performed motion capture for some of the biggest gaming franchises, including Call of Duty, Ghost of Tsushima, Horizon Zero Dawn, and recently completed some of the initial motion capture for Aloy in Horizon Forbidden West. Throughout 2020 Victoria
performed all the motion capture for the female Battlesisters in theWarhammer 40K franchise and completed full performance capture for several new characters in Square Enix's Forspoken. Alongside her extensive Performance Capture resume, Victoria continues to voice characters in games including; World of Warcraft, Fortnite, Titanfall 2, Smite, Crackdown 3, Crash Bandicoot, Middle Earth: Shadow

You can currently see Victoria as Lina in DOTADragonsBlood on Netflix and Kait in Crunchyroll's series FreakAngels.
Victoria is a graduate of The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London (Alumni Judi Dench, Lawrence Olivier, Andrew Garfield...) and also works in Film and Television. She has a large LGBTQ following from playing 134 episodes in UK's run longing show Hollyoaks where she played the first transgendered teen on British Television Jasmine/Jason Costello.

MICHAEL ANTONAKOS

Born in Athens, Greece, and raised in Lake Louise, Alberta. He began his journey into showbiz after moving to Victoria to
study drama at Claremont Secondary School with one of Canada’s theatre Legends, Sylvia Hosie. Shortly after,
Michael went on to attend the University of Victoria. From there, he moved to Vancouver, performing professionally in several musical productions including WEST SIDE STORY, SWEENY TODD, A CHORUS LINE, JOHN AND JEN, BUDDY HOLLY, and IN THE HEIGHTS. During this time, he also began his transition into film and television.
Michael is a graduate of the Robbins Academy of Dramatic Arts at the Citadel Theatre. His first big break came when he landed his first video game audition starring in LORD OF THE RINGS: THE THIRD AGE. He eventually became widely known as a performance capture actor in the video game realm and recognized for his physical abilities to transform into other people and creatures as well as creating new and unrecognizable voices. Michael has amassed a significant body of work in several video game productions, including SLEEPING DOGS, MAX STEEL, DEAD RISING 4, MASS EFFECT ANDROMEDA, and ANTHEM.
Currently, he is starring as lead character Alexios in UBISOFT’s highly anticipated and widely popular blockbuster game ASSASSIN’S CREED® ODYSSEY.
Michael’s work can also be seen in multiple film and television productions, including WARCRAFT: THE BEGINNING, ODYSSEUS: VOYAGE TO THE UNDERWORLD, THE CROSSING, THE GOOD DOCTOR,
PRISON BREAK, MOTIVE, iZOMBIE, ARROW, CONTINUUM, and WHEN CALLS THE HEART. When he’s not acting on screen, you can hear his voice in several animated series, including NINJAGO: MASTERS OF SPINJITZU, TROLLZ, and MY LITTLE PONY: FRIENDSHIP IS MAGIC.
Understanding the importance of philanthropy, Michael gives back to causes that are close to his heart
including DOCTORS WITHOUT BORDERS, OXFAM CANADA, AVAAZ: THE WORLD IN ACTION and WILDERNESS COMMITTEE BC. Michael is also a professional acting coach and teacher and has taught at
Shoreline Studios in Vancouver. He currently runs an actor's group called THE ACTOR’S CHOP SHOP. by @lubbock_con
