What happens when seniors and young people come together around the same table? You get meaningful conversations, new connections, shared stories, and a whole lot of chopping!

Nearly 20 seniors and young people came together at Oasis Family Success Center for an intergenerational evening of learning, conversation, and preparing a healthy meal together.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this event possible! We’re proud to continue creating opportunities for Stafford’s youth to connect, serve, and be heard.

This week I returned home to New Jersey FCCLA to support the conference program for the 2026 State Leadership Conference! The record breaking attendance, impactful service participation, and engaging session content made these two days unforgettable. There’s always a need for alumni help after graduation. Maybe volunteering is your next step!

FCCLA :)

Like this song goes, I don't really have the words to make these moments feel just right. But what I do know to be true is how grateful I am to have stepped into my first FCCLA meeting six years ago.

Thank you to my advisers, Mrs. Stinson, Mrs. D, and Mrs. Dworzanski. This was all made possible thanks to you and I'll never forget the way you have changed the trajectory of my life.

Thank you to Gianna, Abby, Isabella, Amanda, Emma, Diya, Adedoyin, Taylor, Brooklyn, and all the other alumni that gave me my confidence crown. I will NEVER let it fall; not after you've shown me how beautiful life is when you believe in yourself.

Thank you to Brian, Chrissy, Kaya, Cami, Zac, Zoie, Jordan, Addy, Kaci, Grace-Ann, Aubrey and the innumerable chapter members that I have had the privilege of knowing. You've made all the late nights and early mornings worth it knowing that what we did to make Southern Regional FCCLA stronger was worth it. I know you'll keep the legacy alive.

To NJ FCCLA and Malav, Stuti, Pragya, Mishree, Shridhar, Liam, Siya, Riya, Avadhi, Jenna: You have blessed me with the truest family to learn, lead, and serve with. Keep dreaming fearlessly!

To my National Executive Council, what an incredible year we've shared. You have helped me grow exponentially and every tear shed on that stage beside you does not even reach the grief I feel that our time together is over. But with a transition comes an opportunity. An opportunity for us to grow our impact, and life has a funny way of reuniting those that belong together. So, with hope and clarity, I say see you soon Brandon, Grant, Rowan, Claire, Kaitlyn, Ben, Bryna, Casey, and Kimi.

To the sweetest friends I've met from every corner of the United States and beyond. Natalie, Abby, Joey, Sydney, Aleigha, Kaitlyn, Skylar, Hanna, and the list runs on and on... You have shown me the purest joy I have known. I hope to continue to know you till pins rust and blazers wear away.

And, finally, to ever member I have met, learned from, been inspired by, and seen shine on these stages: Thank you. Thank you for everything. YOU have all my love, FCCLA. taken in Fccla(: by @lucaisromo
