I’ve been sitting on this post for a while, trying to process my feelings about being aged out. And honestly, it’s been really difficult to process. This activity is one of VERY few things that has stayed consistent throughout the most formative years of my life. From being a 15 year old kid in the middle of high school to now navigating life post-college, I’ve always had this activity to rely on as a place where I could pursue my passion, enjoy time with my friends, become one of the best at something, and most importantly, be unapologetically myself. It’s hard to put all my feelings about these past seven years into words, and to be honest, I don’t think I’ll ever find the right words to describe how I feel. But maybe I don’t need to find the words, because the personal growth that I’ve had, and the lifelong memories and friendships that I share, describe what it all means to me better than words ever could.

To all of the people I spent seasons with, to all of my friends I met through the activity, to all of my staff, and to all of the people who simply watched and supported me, you all made these years unforgettable in the best way possible. You’ll never truly know how much you all mean to me, and I hope that I’ve made a positive impact on each and every one of you. Endlessly grateful for the amazing people that I met this year, and for those that have been by my side through all of the highs and lows. 2024 came with tons of challenges and growing pains, but also lots of accomplishments and gratifying moments. Thanks for the memories, UCLA💙

My college experience didn’t go quite as I had anticipated, and there are things I wish I had done a little differently. With that said, I’m very grateful for all of the experiences I’ve had and the people I’ve met. I’ve learned a lot about myself over my last four years here, and I wouldn’t trade my experience for anything else.

Pulse 2024 - Grow

From being a 17 year old in high school my first year in Pulse, to now having the opportunity to lead the ensemble that means the most to me has been one of my proudest accomplishments in life. This ensemble means the absolute world to me, and I’m so proud of how resilient, relentless, and undeniable we were all year long. This season and the amazing people I got to spend it with will forever hold a special place in my heart.

This picture perfectly sums up my season with Pulse. I have never felt this level of genuine happiness and fulfillment with the people I marched with. The feeling of pure euphoria performing with my best friends is something I will cherish forever. Thank you Pulse 2023, I have nothing but love for every one of you.

Pulse preview show 2023 was even more special and exciting than I could have imagined. I want to thank all my friends and family that came out yesterday for making it so fulfilling❤️
