Closing night of @bttfbway on Tour. 🫶🏻

There are many people to thank for this journey, first my family - @jenn_jenn1795 @s2h1995 @maggiehallauer & @kellyhallauer - for always being my number one supporters and for following the tour all around the country. Couldn’t have done this without them.

And I also have to thank everyone who took a chance on me to be part of this and who gave me the confidence to step into Marty full-time - @bethiec717 @taylorhaven @tedrarthur @frxnkierxmirez @clairelouisewb @jordanmarkmurphy @baileybailey73 , John Rando, Colin Ingram, and Bob Gale. Some of the kindest and most supportive creatives I’ve ever worked with. I never felt unprepared or unsupported and none of this would have been possible if not for the incredible vision of these people.

This cast and crew are some of the most amazing people I have ever worked with - I wish I could tag them all and I hope they all know how special they are to me and how beautiful and inspiring it was to work with them. Traveling this show is no joke and this company did it with so much levity and so many laughs - the hard days were never too hard because somebody was always smiling. (Special thanks to @roxi3hart @galilea.salvador @madeofdylan & @wiggy___stardust for keeping me clothed and my hair done for the past 2 years!)

Finally, thank you to the fans. Back To the Future has some of the most passionate and caring fans of any fandom I’ve witnessed and to be welcomed with open arms and have my portrayal of Marty be embraced and loved was such an honor. I think it helps that I love the movie just as much as they do.

It’s easy for people to write off Back To The Future as just another action movie about time-travel, but it’s so much more than that. It’s a story about love, friendship and family. It’s about finding your destiny and fighting to save the people you care about. It’s a story that reminds us that maybe we aren’t that different and that love is the most important thing.

I will never forget this experience. It has changed my life for the better and I’m so happy to have been part of the legacy of this franchise.

I’m really gonna miss you, future boy. taken in Portland, Oregon by @lucas.hallauer

Goodbye @bttfbway PART ONE (Swing Era)

Never really did a post to say goodbye to my time as a swing on Back To The Future. And since today is the 2 year anniversary of our opening night, I figure the best time is now. Being a swing taught me so much about this industry and more importantly so much about myself and I am so grateful for my time swinging this insane show. Ended up doing 7/8 of my tracks and performed 121 shows as a swing. Wouldn’t trade a single one of them. Here’s a rundown of these special moments from my swing era….

1 - LA Press Opening. The Pantages will always hold a special place in my heart as the place I got to go on for Marty in front of our creatives and producers.
2 - My bags packed for the first travel day! Also my 23rd birthday!
3 - The put-in we did AFTER my Marty Debut!
4 - Me at the swing table during tech. Lots of emotions were had at this table and @rossthompson6738 was with me through them all.
5 - The rehearsal room Delorean. Never got to ride in this one but it was fun to see in action. Shoutout to the OG @bttftoursms team for making that thing work!
6 - me and @ina.blackk as Blonde cuties!!! Wore this wig for the infamous unigoon show. If you know, you know.
7 - there was a balcony in the dressing room in Seattle. This was the day I found out I’d be taking over Marty full-time, so I wanted to take pictures in all the costumes I wouldn’t get to wear anymore.
8 - Delorean rehearsal - my first time riding in the car that I would grow to spend so much time in
9 - I really can’t wait to be in the 21st Century
10 - Me getting ready for 21st century & @willjewett as Biff
11 - Me with @madeofdylan (RIP Marty Wig)
12 - when @ina.blackk got her phone stolen at the Abbey in LA but I was not concerned ;)
13 - @zanberube sneaking into the audience in Cleveland because she wanted to watch the beginning of the show
14 - seeing our first theatre while out celebrating my birthday in 2024 🤯
15 - Me and @rossthompson6738 constantly in our dressing room. taken in North America by @lucas.hallauer

Finally got around to going through and editing some photos I took on our family trip to see Hallau. 🫶🏻

Hallau is presumably where my dad’s side of the family immigrated from in the late 1800’s (people who come from Hallau are Hallauers) and visiting there was a great opportunity to reflect on the history of my family and the beauty of somebody traveling so far to create a better life for their family and so many generations after them.
