A feisty Friday! The beautiful Bay of Naples kept us busy yesterday. 🌊

Big waves. Shifty breeze. Plenty to figure out. And that’s exactly why we’re here.

We’re a new team learning how to make this boat go faster together, and right now it’s the little things that count. For our Olympic medalist @lucascalabrese, it was a good reminder of what this racecourse can throw at us.

Back at it today. Stay tuned for more 🇺🇸

The Cup captured his imagination in 1995. It’s held it ever since.

For @lucascalabrese, joining ARC Team USA is more than the next chapter in his career. It’s a childhood dream, a responsibility to the next generation, and something he gets to share with his biggest fans at home.

Welcome to the team, #12.

Olympic medalist. World champion. America’s Cup legacy.

A U.S. citizen born in Buenos Aires, @lucascalabrese won Olympic bronze in the 470 at London 2012. He is an Optimist World Champion, a two-time TP52 World Champion, and a world champion in both the @melges20 and @j70class. Most recently, he was a key member of the last USA campaign for the 37th America’s Cup.

Now, all that experience has one focus: The 38th @americascup.

Welcome to ARC Team USA, Lucas.
