SILENT REFLECTION

In the pursuit of self-protection, we sometimes build up walls. While they conceal our true selves, they also provide a sense of comfort while silencing the inner self.
Behind this facade, an inner space of safety emerges - a place where we feel protected and at ease. Rather than revealing what lies within, we adapt, adopt patterns of behavior, and assimilate into our surroundings.
Like reflectors that return incoming light to its point of origin, we no longer emit our own inner light, but merely reflect a copy of the world around us.
This metaphor of reflection and concealment forms the conceptual foundation of the design. Each piece engages with these themes - through voluminous draping that allows the body to partially disappear, through the translation of reflector microstructures into textile surfaces, and trough hidden details that reveal themselfes only upon closer inspection.
