Hello to all the new faces here! 👋🏻 I figured an introduction is long overdue. My name is Leah, I’m a stained glass and cyanotype experimenter and my favorite things are:

•romantasy novels
•my bird tattoos
•cool weather and hot tea
•light ephemera
•Lord of the Rings extended edition

Please say hi in the comments and let me know if we have the same taste! 🧚🏻‍♀️ by @lucentglassworks

One of my most requested tutorials! If you guys like posts like these, I will make a series on how to create on glass, how to make transparency films, etc. Cyanotype is such a fun medium, but hard to control (and personally I think that’s part of the charm). Comment below if there’s a specific tutorial you guys are interested in! by @lucentglassworks

First art swap in the books. This was so much fun! When @mothandmanuscript messaged me saying she wanted to trade a stained glass mirror gauntlet for a skate deck, I said ABSOLUTELY heck yes. This is the first of many trades I have coming up, and it turned out so well. Stay tuned for more! by @lucentglassworks

Just my rambling thoughts. I’m grateful to all of you though. For anyone that supports me, watches me grow. I think that everyone is struggling right now, trying to keep up with inflation, gas prices, the fact that nothing is affordable. It’s easy to get swept up into hustle and grind culture, only for that same culture to chew you up and spit you back out. Art isn’t worth it if you turn into a production machine. If your nervous system is fried. But art is fundamental to being a human. So how do you maintain softness and peace in this world? I want to know. by @lucentglassworks
