Never skip a Monday.

Especially if it’s a #medalmonday and it’s race day. I must say that this was supposed to be a party pace after 10 miles yesterday and 16 miles on deck tomorrow. But with the race day excitement, that all went by the waysides 🤭

Even though this was my second @rbc @nyrr Brooklyn Half Marathon, it was a first for so many things — a new mindset, new memories, new traditions, and a reminder that running doesn’t always have to be a solo journey.

There’s something powerful about having people beside you who push you, cheer for you, and experience every high and low with you. Don’t underestimate the power of running with friends.

Sometimes the miles feel lighter simply because you’re not carrying them alone. 🏃🏽‍♀️

250 years of America. Countless miles of community. 🇺🇸🏃🏽‍♀️

What better way to celebrate the 4th of July than with the annual @officialblackgirlsrun Bridge Run! We started at Independence Hall, crossed the bridge into Camden, NJ, and made our way back to Philadelphia—taking in history, sunshine, and miles with an incredible community.

One of my favorite things about the running community is how we continue to show up for one another. Seeing members from so many different run clubs come together to support, encourage, and celebrate was what today was all about.

Good people. Good miles. Good vibes.

Unexpected and Unplanned sometimes is the best thing!

Thanks to the amazing @may_medina who asked me if I was running the @phillyrunfest and I said I have no way of picking up my bib and she said “handled”. Thank you 😊

Seeing some greats on the course like @joshadelphia @sayitrahshay and a few of the Philly running crews @bmr_phl @bmr_snj @officialblackgirlsrun really gave me all the feels.

Happy June.

Six month check in. How are you doing? Good. Good or not, it’s GOOd. Because we’re only halfway through the year. We have 6 months to calibrate and get back on course or level up.
