One of the best decisions I made this year was to just take the trip. āœˆļøšŸ„¹

One of the many group trips we had planned, and the very first one that actually left the group chat šŸ˜‚.

Around April, I was just feeling like, ā€œI need to travel. I need to go somewhere. I need to make some memories.ā€ And somehow, on the first day of my birth month, the trip finally happened. šŸ„‚āœØ

It’s funny how you and your friends can make all these beautiful travel plans, but adulthood stress, work, responsibilities and life will keep postponing them. šŸ˜‚

But this one? We actually went! And I’m so glad I said yes to the experience.

Here’s to more trips, more memories, more spontaneous decisions, and more moments where I get to pause and enjoy the life I’m building.

Cheers to many more adventures to come. šŸ„‚šŸŒ

WHAT YOU REFUSE TO CONFRONT IN OBEDIENCE TODAY MAY BECOME SOMETHING THE NEXT GENERATION HAS TO CONFRONT TOMORROW.

Our decisions matter.

Our obedience matters.

The things we tolerate matter.

Because sometimes, disobedience doesn’t end with the person who committed it.

Its consequences can echo.

A compromise today can become someone else’s battle tomorrow.

Something you refuse to deal with can become something your children or those after you have to confront.

But there is another side to this story that is just as powerful:

GOD CAN RAISE A GENERATION TO CORRECT WHAT WAS LEFT UNFINISHED.

Saul failed.

But God still raised Mordecai.

Agag was spared.

But God still raised Esther.

What was mishandled in one generation did not become the final chapter.

God had another generation.

And perhaps that is where some of us are today.

Perhaps you were born into a story you did not start.

There may be patterns you didn’t create.

There may be battles you didn’t initiate.

There may be things that happened before you that you had no control over.

But God can raise you to say:

ā€œIt ends here.ā€
The compromise ends here.

The disobedience ends here.

The pattern ends here.

The cycle ends here.

Not because you are better than those who came before you, but because God’s grace is able to redeem what was lost and use an obedient generation to change the story.

So don’t only ask:

ā€œWhat did those before me get wrong?ā€

Ask:

ā€œWhat has God placed in my hands to correct?ā€

Perhaps you are the Mordecai God is raising to recognize what is happening.

Perhaps you are the Esther God is positioning for such a time as this.

Perhaps God has brought you into a particular family, ministry, workplace, community or generation because there is something He wants you to confront, restore, build or complete.

And perhaps your obedience today is bigger than you realize.

Because you may be making decisions today that will affect people you will never meet.

Your ā€œyesā€ to God may become someone else’s testimony.

ā€œSometimes temptation comes disguised as a miracle or a blessingā€.

Sometime last week, I got a business offer that seemed like an answered prayer. It was exactly what I needed at that moment, and I was already thanking God. I immediately sprang into action.

But as the conversation progressed, the client began saying things that made me question the source of the opportunity. Something didn’t sit right in my spirit.

My mind tried to justify it: ā€œThe source isn’t my business. I’m just here to do business.ā€ But the Holy Spirit kept nudging me that not everything that looks good is from Him.

The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 10:23:

ā€œEverything is permissible, but not everything is beneficial. Everything is permissible, but not everything builds up.ā€

Just because an opportunity is available doesn’t mean it’s beneficial or pleasing to God.

I also remembered James 3:17:

ā€œBut the wisdom from above is first pure, then peace-loving, gentle, compliant, full of mercy and good fruitsā€¦ā€

God’s wisdom is first pure. If I have to silence my conscience or ignore the Holy Spirit’s prompting, then it isn’t the wisdom that comes from God.

After wrestling with it, I chose to walk away.

It wasn’t easy because I genuinely needed the deal. But in that moment, I was reminded that obedience often requires trusting God beyond what makes sense to us.

If you’re facing a similar situation, I pray this encourages you to pause, seek God’s wisdom, and have the courage to walk away if He is prompting you to. Trust that He is able to meet your needs through better, cleaner, and more honorable means.

Remember His promise in Philippians 4:19:

ā€œAnd my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.ā€ by @luchmay2

What if the delay isn’t punishment… but preparation?

I made a promise to myself that I wouldn’t post here just to stay active. I’d only share when I genuinely felt led to say something or when I had something to promote. šŸ˜‰

Today is one of those moments.

A thought came to me this morning.

Sometimes, when things happen quickly for us, it’s easy to wonder why others aren’t making the same progress or to assume they’re not doing enough. But having experienced both rapid breakthroughs and long waiting seasons, I’ve learned that we should be kinder and pray more for those who are still waiting.

The waiting season is often where character is built. It’s where God teaches the lessons you’ll need for your next season. If you don’t embrace that process with patience and learn what He’s teaching you, you may struggle to navigate what you’ve been praying for.

So, if you’re in a waiting season, ask God, ā€œWhat do You want to teach me here?ā€ It may not be easy or enjoyable, but don’t waste the season. Do the work.

One of the simplest yet most powerful prayers is: ā€œGod, help me.ā€

I pray that when this season is over, you won’t just come out with what you prayed for, you’ll come out refined, wiser, and ready for all that God has prepared for you.

ā€œI forgot this testimony for 8 years… until one sentence in choir brought it back.ā€

Funny enough, I had forgotten this part of my life until choir practice on Thursday.
We were rehearsing a Hausa song when my choirmaster smiled and said, ā€œSr. Blessing, you should know this song na. Didn’t you serve in the North?ā€

For a few seconds, I was blank… then it hit me.

ā€œOh! That’s true.ā€

I camped in Katsina for NYSC before I redeployed to Lagos.

On my way home after my school clearance, I checked my call-up letter and saw Katsina. I was exhausted already. All I could think was, ā€œGod, I’m not entering a bus to Katsina. I don’t know how You’ll do it, but I’m not.ā€

That was all I had, a spoken word and faith.

Not long after, I told a friend where I had been posted. He simply said, ā€œI’ll book your flight.ā€

Just like that.

Another friend, Diana @dynamicdian , was posted to Gombe, so we took our first-ever flight together. 😩😁

When we landed in Kano, I met Ify at the airport while we were all asking each other, ā€œWhere’s your camp?ā€ Her sister’s company car came to pick her up, and she insisted I joined them. Another favor.

While in camp, I received my Hennessy activation payment and the bicycle allowance. When it was time to return, I called a friend who worked in ticketing and asked for his account number so I could pay for my flight.

Instead, he booked the ticket and told me not to worry about paying.

Back in Kano, as Ify and I got to the hotel to continue our journey the next day, a Commissioner of Police saw us and said, ā€œCorpers, don’t worry, I’ll take care of it.ā€

Favor upon favor.

It’s been over eight years, and I had almost forgotten this story until one simple statement in choir brought it all back.

Sometimes, God allows you to remember old testimonies because He wants to remind you that He has never changed.

Looking back, I realize I didn’t have the money or the connections to make any of those things happen. I only had faith and one declaration:

ā€œGod, I don’t know how You want to do it, but I’m not entering a bus to camp.ā€

He made a way before I even knew what the next step would be.
If God did it then, He is still able to do it now. by @luchmay2

And to every woman out there:
Never forget to invest in yourself.

Sometime last year, I went to my supplier to get some Jewelry and some other customers were also there and they were asking for recommendations, I recommended a piece I have used and the guy told me he got a complaint from another customer that that particular Jewelry tarnished on time, I told him it’s a lie, mine is still in good shape.

Caring for your Jewelry helps it last longer, kindly take your time to go through the slides and thank me later.

Between which of this tips have you been practising?šŸ™‹ā€ā™€ļø
