This series of images came to life fairly spontaneously during a recent photoshoot with Henry. While searching for new, creative angles, I suddenly discovered how cool it looked with him standing right in front of my lightbox, creating that intense desert sun glow. Without even meaning to, we landed right on the set of Dune… ahahah.

The shoot came to life in collaboration with @goettiniederer who very kindly provided us with 5 pairs of wonderful glasses. Special thanks to Mike and and the whole team! 🙏🏼☺️

This is my last post from THE ICE 2026. A last collection of nostalgic postcards of an event that celebrates the art of automobiles, design, elegance, style and life itself.
A truly unique event and experience that filled me with joy and excitement!

This year at THE ICE in St.Moritz I got to meet so many cool people through asking them or them asking me to take their picture.
These encounters were so much fun and also so valuable for me because this way I now have portraits of people that I have the permission to use for my portfolio.
This is important to me because I think a photo series of an event like this wouldn’t really work without some faces and characters, because they are who that make it come to life!

This post is a collection of postcard moments of THE ICE 2026 in St.Moritz.

But not only static postcards… also postcards that move and that are alive. It has been a long time that I wanted to create these moving postcards and THE ICE gave me the perfect stage to do it.

They give the viewer a very intimate and in a way unfiltered insight into the events because of the way they show isolated moments who are not edited in a certain way to tell a story.
They definitely are edited (color graded) to achieve a visual language and evoke a nostalgic feeling, but they still have a certain rawness to them that I think makes them especially valuable in today’s world of so much staged and artificial content, content that keeps us feeling distant to what shown to us.

Please share your thoughts and impression of these video postcard! I‘m seriously curious about what it evokes in people :)

Here we gooo!!!! Finally I get to post my photos from THE ICE St.Moritz 2026!

Thousands of photos shot, hundreds edited and these are some of the final results… 😌

I once had this thought that if would be cook, I would be very unhappy because my work that I put so much effort and love into would get eaten and then it’s gone forever… all the work for only this short moment.

And then today I realized, that my profession is actually not to different from that… I put hours and days into my photography work for it to be viewed only seconds on Instagram and then disappear in the ocean of content…

This realization is one of the reasons why I am falling in love more and more with the idea of printing my photos!

A print gives a photograph a different kind of value. It can then be displayed and viewed in a less saturated environment and therefore be appreciated in a very different way!

Today I wanna share with you my experience and the story behind my first exhibition in Lucerne at @artdesuisse_ that took place two weeks ago :)

At the beginning of this year I moved to the beautiful city of Lucerne. As a self employed photographer and filmmaker in a new city I wanted to get myself known locally and look for opportunities to connect with fellow artists and potential clients from around here. Therefore the ARTdeSUISSE exhibition seemed to be the perfect opportunity!

I registered myself for the exhibition and decided that I wanted to exhibit photographs of the upcoming THE ICE event that I was going to document in St.Moritz.
At the end of January, I traveled to St.Moritz, where for two days I shot over 2000 photos of the event. Absolut great fun! 🙏🏼

Back home I had to select the five best ones of all the 2000 photos. My selection criteria’s where:
- does the image tell some kind of story?
- is the image visually appealing and aesthetic?
- would I myself consider buying the image if I didn’t know the artist?
- do the five images work together as a collection?
These questions helped me to make the selection of the final five images.

The next steps were to edit them, print them (with @whitewall_lab), curate them for the wall that was available to me and do some marketing to let everyone know about the exhibition.
I decided on the prices of the images and prepared the necessary legal documents for a possible sale.

And finally, on March 19th, the doors opened and we celebrated a wonderful vernissage night with many art lovers, great conversations and of course some finger food and drinks. Then the exhibition remained open until Sunday evening, March 22nd.

Many of my dear family members and friends have visited me during these days and I wanna say a big special thank you to all of them! ❤️
Also the @artdesuisse_ crew and the fellow exhibitors were truly amazing and over the course of these days I made many valuable and heartwarming connections! 😌

Overall I’m deeply grateful for this entire journey! I’ve learned so much on the way and it helped me to feel even more integrated and at home in my wonderful new home, Lucerne! 🌞 taken in Kornschütte Luzern by @lucianrumpe

Two friends savor the moment, captivated by the impressive aerial display of the Patrouille Suisse at THE ICE event in St. Moritz. This flight on January 31, 2026, was the final performance of Patrouille Suisse in the Engadine region and therefore a historic moment.

LA FERRARI GIALLA

The 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB/4 in Giallo Fly is a true icon and was presented as an exclusive exhibit at this year’s THE ICE event in St. Moritz. The car has 300 hp and was one of only 330 ever built. Its current market value is approximately 3 million CHF.
