Lucy had been waiting for this moment, but she never imagined it would happen quite like this.

We had been planning their engagement shoot in Cappadocia, Türkiye, for a while when Rons reached out with an idea to make it even more special: proposing during the trip. Seeing it all come together and capturing Lucy’s surprise was such a joy.

Tinu & Ashka | Banff

Here are some of my favorite shots from an epic engagement session with Tinu and Ashka at Moraine Lake in Banff! Usually, it’s the couple who finds their photographer, but with these two, it felt like I found them when we met earlier this year during a shoot in Houston. From that day to hanging out in the crazy cold of Banff, we’ve had such a blast together. And it’s not over yet—We’ll be there for their wedding this January, and I can’t wait! So grateful for all the fun memories we’ve made, both on and off camera.

Nevin & Annie | San Francisco, CA

Ever since Nevin & Annie booked us for their wedding, we’ve been trying to make this engagement session happen. Somehow, something would always come up and we kept having to push it back… but we finally made it happen in San Francisco.

Honestly, this trip was kind of insane when you think about it. Flew from New York to SF in the morning, got picked up from the airport by these two, spent the entire day roaming around the city hitting different spots for photos, grabbed some Mexican food in between, and flew back to New York the very same night.

As hectic as that sounds, it never really felt that way. We had way too much fun creating these photos together.

And now, somehow, we’re officially just one month away from their wedding day. Can’t wait to come back to California and celebrate these two all over again!

Round 1/2 : The Hindu Wedding

Tinu and Ashka had two beautiful wedding ceremonies, and picking photos from this one was nearly impossible—there were just too many good ones! Celebrating in Cancun was such an unforgettable experience, but I still remember how worried we were about the rain that morning. The ceremony was supposed to be outdoors, and for a while, it looked like we’d have to move it inside. But by the grace of God, the skies cleared up just in time, and everything turned out perfect.

Anza & Albert | Completing the Story

When I first met Anza and Albert on our consultation call, Anza shared something that really stuck with me. Although they had gotten married a few years ago, they never had the chance to get certain photos, especially in their Indian attire, that she had always dreamed of. So this shoot became more than just a session. It was a chance to finally create the images that had been missing from their story.

On the day of the shoot, the rain decided to make an appearance and rescheduling was not really an option. But instead of letting it stop us, we embraced it, found beautiful indoor spaces, worked with the mood, and made it happen. Honestly, I could not be happier with how everything turned out. Hearing that Anza and Albert felt the same made it all the more special. I hope these photos not only fill in the gaps but also bring back the emotions of their wedding day and the experience of this shoot.

Round 2/2: The Christian Wedding

It’s not every day that a couple gets to celebrate their love through two distinct wedding ceremonies, each representing a different culture. For Tinu and Ashka, this journey was truly special. After their beautiful Hindu ceremony, we had the privilege of capturing their Christian wedding at the stunning Kuha (@kuhacasadelagua), a location that added such a unique touch to their celebration.

The entire wedding was centered around the theme #2States, blending the best of both traditions into one unforgettable experience. Seeing them honor both sides of their heritage in such a meaningful way was incredible, and I couldn’t be happier with how these photos turned out. I truly hope you love them as much as I do!

As this year wraps up, I just want to take a moment to say thank you to every couple who trusted me with their memories in 2025. I got to photograph weddings and engagements across so many beautiful places around the world and even saying that still feels unreal to me.

During one of the weddings this year, our couple Tinu and Ashka mentioned the hashtag #inlucidwetrust during their speech and since then it has stuck with me in a really special way. It became more than just a phrase. It reminded me that what I do is built on trust. Every time someone invites me to capture their story, I feel that responsibility. It is something I take deeply to heart and something I never take for granted.

Traveling to all these destinations has been such an incredible experience. I never imagined my work would take me to so many places and I feel grateful that I get to do what I love while exploring the world with such amazing people.

Thank you for letting me be part of your journey. I cannot wait to see what 2026 has in store.
