I’m sorry for having taken a super long break from social media! I’ve been using a plotter mini 6 to keep track of my projects, commitments, and journaling throughout the last year or so, and I wanted to share the little watercolor Robin I made in this book.

Slowly, I’ll try to upload some small sketches and looser art here on IG as I get over the weird feelings about posting on social media again!

Thank you all for your support over the years and this past one especially. Nobody ever explicitly mentioned that life gets harder through adulthood every year that passes. Thanks for sticking with me as I navigate all these challenges and patiently still looking out for my new artworks or products. 🙇🏻‍♀️🙏

I’m going to AFA this year! Here’s a catalog of things I’ll be bringing. New for sg is the smaller A6 postcard size! Several people had been asking me to make a smaller print for a while, so I worked on these series for this fall/winter update.

Looking forward to seeing you guys there!

For everyone stateside, BF sales will be announced soon! Thanks for hanging in there eventhough I haven’t been too active on socials lately!!

Nimi Nightmare drawn on the newly updated Magic Drawing Pad!

@xppenusa
sent me this amazing device when I expressed interest in a standalone device for mobile work. I was able to create this artwork of Nimi primarily on this device.

Links for the device in Bio!
Review details below~

The tablet has a gorgeous matte display, solid specs (16GB RAM w/ expansion), and great battery life. Definitely feels premium right out of the box. Bluetooth connectivity is strong and quick making it easy to pair with keyboards and controllers for fast shortcuts. Several styluses are compatible with the MDP with good pressure response on this tablet.

The color accuracy is quite good with over 100% coverage of sRGB. The brightness of the screen accurately displays colors in bright daylight. Default pen is light, responsive, and comfortable. Comes with a protective case including a pen holder, which is great since 3rd-party cases are rare.

XP-Pen Magic Drawing Pad is a strong Android-based drawing device with the upgraded OS to android 14. The software compatibility with CLIP studio makes ease of switching between desktop and mobile work. The memory expansion allows for serious edits to be made on the road.

Bottom line: The upgraded Magic Drawing Pad has treated me really well for over 3 months of constant use. I was able to be spontaneous and finish some real work on the road thanks to this device. I keep it in my backpack often. I highly recommend it! by @lucidskyart

Remembrance

Finally got around to finishing this piece! I wanted to draw an illustration featuring the nostalgic feeling that Frieren herself gets when she thinks of Himmel. He looks onwards at her with a smile as if still with her on her journey. It’s a tender and bittersweet feeling so I hope I was able to convey some of it with a warm dappled light through the forest canopy.
