To the favorite woman in my life next to my mother, I hope you can finally rest peacefully. You are the strongest woman I have ever met in my entire life. The most gracious, thoughtful, and kind Nonni any grandchild would be lucky to have. I will never forget the summers I had with you, “Mr.Pirate” coming to visit us with pool toys or other goodies. You made sure being your grandchild was a magical experience. Birthday celebrations and gathering when you did live close. When you left to Florida when I was young my heart broke and I did not understand why. As I grew I began to understand more and I am more than happy you took the move to Florida. You deserved every bit of happiness you found there. I am so happy you got to live your life in rays of sunshine, days by the beach, or even hanging out with your girlfriends. The visits began to mean 10x more due to the distance and I cherished every time I was able to see you. Whether that was a shopping trip, breakfast in the lanai, or just watching hockey. Life is precious and grandparents are a gift to this world. If you have a grandparent in your life still, please give them a hug and tell them how much you love them. I have done everything in your name and I will continue to make you proud as I grow. I will be listening to voicemails of you on repeat, I miss you already and I love you forever and always by @lucie.steele
