Nice little section from me and Lucas back in April last year, getting ready for the Nascent Roots release party. What a vibe that night was!

Look forward to playing together again.

The track we’re jamming here is Apa.

Here the full thing on Nascent Roots, Part-2.

"The South London All Ska’s are a collective of South London musicians playing instrumental ska in the classic old-school style. Made up of rotating members from some of the capital’s finest bands, the group is united by a deep love for Ska, Rocksteady, and Reggae — inspired by the mighty Skatalites of 1960s Jamaica.

Our brass-heavy lineup brings the spirit of vintage ska to life. With an ever-evolving crew and infectious energy, we’ll have you up on your feet — so bring your dancing shoes and your best ska moves! "

Many thanks to Nicky @ Culture productions

Henry “Matic” Tenyue on
lead vocals with this rendition of Abyssinians / Mighty Diamonds classic “Declaration of Rights”

Did you know Lambeth Country Show 2026 is not set to go ahead? The council has declared it does not have enough budget for the event to take place while numerous private, ticketed events will go ahead. LCS is one of the last publicly funded, open to all, FREE festivals in London and has been going since the 70’s.

For those that would like to use their voice to raise concern please write to MP Helen Hayes
