Full recipe ⬇️⬇️⬇️

Set oven to 425*f
3 eggs
1/2cup gf flour (I used Caputo)
2 tsp sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of cinnamon
Pinch of salt
1/2cup milk

Blend with emulsion blender until smooth. Let sit while oven heats up. Place cast iron pan in oven to heat with oven. After your oven comes to temp, leave the cast iron in for 8 minutes.

Melt 3 tbsp of salted butter in hot pan then add batter. Bake for 18 minutes then serve immediately.

Serve with fresh fruit and cream.

3 spots in Kelowna where you can hang out with farm animals this fall 🐐🐮🦙

McMillan Farms has goats, pigs, donkeys and chickens, plus a farm shop full of pumpkins and lots for families to do.

Luckhurst Farm & Distillery has two baby highland cows, giant rabbits, mini fainting goats, ducks and chickens, and you can grab a cocktail tasting while you're there.

Soma Craft Cidery has alpacas on the farm, and the cider tasting comes with a great view.

Recipe ⬇️⬇️⬇️
2 Cups Fresh Figs
1 Cup Water
1 Cup Sugar
1 Vanilla Bean

Bring all ingredients to a medium simmer for 20 minutes. Press the figs with the back of a spoon once they’ve softened.
Turn off heat and cover the pot with a lid for 15 minutes to steep.
Strain through a fine strainer or a cheese cloth.
Serve with Vanilla Ice Cream or in a cocktail.

Shake with ice
